I recently had a sexual injury six weeks ago that lead to painful erections and some possible early symptoms of Peyronies disease. The urologist I went to diagnosed me with it. Saying the injury is healing and Peyronies is scar tissue that will happen when the injury heal and may affect the shape function and quality of my erections after. He had a wait and see attitude and only prescribed me vitamin E.

I am trying to get a prescription for Pentox because for it thanks to joining these forums and educating myself. I know it will help prevent scar tissue build up and will be the first line of what I can use to have as much healing as possible and prevent more issues down the line.

However my doctor would not prescribe it to me, and said he won't do any other prescriptions for me until my follow up in 8 weeks. I spoke to a PC doctor who said he can't really prescribe it either, not a specialist. I am starting to get really desperate because I am trying to take proactive action but no doctors are allowing me the prescription. I also went to a telemedicine doctor clinic today and spoke to someone who could write prescription as welll, but again she was not a specialist and was not comfortable prescribing anything so sent me a referral to a urologist.

I really want to take the Pentox as soon as possible but it seems so hard for someone to allow me to take it, what do you guys do if you aren't seeing a specialist already and trying to get on things ASAP? I don't have many other options or can think of anything, and I think it's a terrible idea to just wait two months of potential scar tissue build up to see my urologist again who hasn't been helpful.

I want to schedule an appointment with a specialist in Calofornia where I live, but the issue is I have Medi Cal insurance so limited amount of doctors work in my network. I don't really have the funds to pay out of pocket for doctor visits, but it's so frustrating because the prescription itself is so cheap wirh my insurance. I just need to have a doctor who's willing to prescribe it.
30 yrs old, peyronies diagnosis Aug 2019. Daily pentox, cialis, arginine, traction therapies. Started with dent and pain, top half penis thinned. Upward curve from pre peyronies natural left curve.  2 inch loss of length. 8 in to 6 inches. Nightmare.

Stratt,

A couple of things, first you are posting in the ED section of the forum.  Your post s fits better in the Peyronies Disease section below.  There are many boards so look carefully to put it in the best board when you post.

Also, you should have read the survival guide.  If you did you would see links to some info on Pentox that you can take to a doctor and it might help convince them IF it is presented in a proper way and not presented like you know more than they do because you were on the internet.  Here is the link to the survival guide. https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html

Until you can get Pentax just do the other stuff and concentrate on what you can do and do not stress over what you cannot do at the moment.

I will likely move this top but leave a link here so you can find it.
