a few days since first cycle ended (Friday); was wondering if anyone else had a smiliar experience.  That the erections appear more curved than before?  I'm assuming it is temporary.  Experiences?

Same here. Now, I understand this may be temporary during the recovery phase from the injections, but I've seen little discussion on this point...

Is the first time you attempt a trial erection after round one of Xiaflex commonly a disappointing exercise?

I'm two weeks out from round one and things looks marginally worse. And a new lump here and a new indent there!

Now, I did have a pretty bad injection site hematoma with my very first shot that's still lingering, but I was hoping to see some early improvement in return for the discomfort and ended up bummed out... Last thing I want is to make things worse.
Early 40's. Completed 4 rounds (8 shots) of Xiaflex in early 2020. Using low-dose Cialis and Citrulline to maintain decent results.

I had my first Xiaflex injection on Nov 22, just 8 days ago.  The urologist injected the plaque 3 times then wrapped me up and said to keep it on for 3 days and not to have sex for 2 full weeks.  I had no bruising or any marks after taking off the wrap. No pain except for the injection for pain that I got before the Xiaflex.    Started using my PMPro for 3 hours a day 5 days ago.

Last night I had my first erection since the injections and my curve was worse that before yet my plaque feels a lot smaller.  I  have some hour glassing below my glands that does not seem any better either.  :(

I hope this is just the way it works and it will improve.  My Urologist said not to expect any results from the first injection and to wait and assess after we do 3 injections each 1 month apart.

52 yo First noticed Oct 2018 with no bend until May 2019. Had 3 Xiaflex injections Dec - Jan 28, 2020. hour glassing improved after the 2nd. Switched to bi weekly Verapamil starting Dec 2020. Happy with the results so far. Much easier to take.

Hmmmm...quite possibly.  When I began the Xiaflex treatments it became obvious that my penis was getting a lot more attention both physically and psychologically!!!  Since the plaque is restricting one small part of the tunica albuginea along the side/sides of one or both corpus Cavernosum, the amount of bending is related to the internal pressure of the cavernosum.  That is to say, as the erection occurs, the bend forms and appears.  I did notice a slight increase in the amount of bend when all the attention to the penis and erection quality began...but then I realized that I was evaluating a very good, hard erection...possibly a bit better than an "average" erection.  So, maybe it is a little more bent, and that may not be much of an issue.  Just stick with the modeling and the injection cycles and keep your fingers crossed.  My Dr. told me that often the curve reduction does not set in until after a few injections and the plaque is broken down enough to reduce the bending.  Hope all goes well for you!
