Sharp flaccid pain, do I have Peyronie's?

Hey guys, I'm actually a medical student who started a pretty stressful transition.

Recently, for about 2.5 weeks, I've been having a sharp pain in my penis on the left side and what seems to be an inflamed "plaque"/lump. It's about .5cm x.8 cm on the left side of my penis. I have always had about a 25 degree leftward curvature and a "kink" in my dick. Perhaps it arose from Peyronie's as a youngster (we know this disease is highly underdiagnosed) and when I had erections that got bent due to tight underwear and jeans. In any case, congenital or not, I've mostly accepted it.

However, I'm pretty worried now because I've got a new pain and plaque in that same area.

I think my recent injury may have come from one of two two potential sources.

To make a long story short, over the past couple of months I got into penis enlargement. I wasn't stupid about it since I read about the potential for injury. All I did was a little bit of manual traction (very light) for around 10-15 seconds a few times a day. That too mostly every other day.

1. Looking down at my bent dick, I may have tried to "straighten" it while erect, which is a very stupid thing to do, and something I may have done in a moment of OCD weakness while jacking off.

OR

2. I messed up initially by doing penile traction while semi-erect. This pulled my pelvic floor muscles, led to mild hard flaccid. When I was sleeping with hard flaccid, I may have rolled onto my penis and bent it/hurt it that way.

The hard flaccid I was able to get rid of through meditation, relaxation, and reverse kegels. However, the Peyronie's has pain persisted.

I was able to stop myself from messing with my dick at all for an entire two weeks. No masturbation or stretching. The pain went away mostly so I figured it was just a temporary injury and I was back in business. I started masturbating again, and lightly stretching (just in case I did have peyronie's -- I have heard traction was helpful).

I am inclined to think it's because of the masturbation, not the stretching, but my pain came back with a vengeance. Before it was maybe a 2/10, now it is a 4/10. The inflamed lump on the left side of my dick is bigger and more noticeable after I jacked off. I haven't jacked off for 24 hours now and the plaque region is less noticeable but the pain is definitely there. It's all I can do not to massage my dick and freak out right now. I'm not going to allow this health scare to hold me hostage mentally.

Anyways, what should I do? I am going to schedule an appt with my PCP, and if he thinks it's worrying, I'll go to an andrologist. That is going to be a horrible experience for me. We don't have good insurance and my parents have never discussed sex with me (repressed asian household). They are going to want to know why I am spending hundreds of dollars on tests and appointments, and I will have to talk to them about my dick.

Ugh. At the end of the day, I know I have a lot to be grateful for, though.

Hi Swagalot

FIRST you must see a Peyronies specialist for diagnosis and treatment.
From your post, I suppose you have Peyronies, but just a specialist can say for sure.
I understand your reluctance talking with you parents, but you must to. You don't need to go with them in too much details, just talk about the pain.
Regarding:
Quote...my parents have never discussed sex with me (repressed asian household)
It is not just in "repressed Asian households" :) Sadly, many other households also.
And also if your father have no Peyronies, most probably they never heard about it.

Light manual traction will not make Peyronies
