Which device should I purchase? Anything other than RestoreX worth considering?

So I am about to begin this journey.

I have a ~10-15% curvature (I'm grateful it is not nearly as bad as many on here) and lost about half an inch of girth (ouch) and some length. If I can reduce the curvature even slightly, I will be a pretty happy camper. And if I can gain back a tad of length, I won't be complaining about that, either.

Restorex seems very expensive at ~$500, but it seems it has been used in studies and is somewhat of a market leader - and obviously worth it many times over if it works. Anyone know of any reason to consider any other devices? Are there any serious competitors. Any insight would be appreciated.

Also, is there any reason not to try traction? My biggest concern is that stretching the penis like this could cause some kind of damage, perhaps resulting in ED or something. Anyone have any insight on that?

Thanks in advance.

Some people here have had success with the PeniMaster Pro as well as Restorex. Do a forum search or check the traction section and you may find better answers.

VED has been proven to restore length so you may want to consider that.

Yes there are risks in traction, you can do further damage if you're not careful. Clamping too tight or stretching too far by hand. So please have a look at some videos and do your research before starting.

Hope this helps.

Hello, there really is no reason not to start tractiion. It's considered safe by eurologists. Just start slow.
Whatever device you chose. Follow the instructions carefully. Work your way in slowly. To allow your penis to get use to being stretches.

For example if the instructions require a 1 hour session daily for the first week. And your finding that stressful.  Try 2 times 30 mins sessions. I have had downs with traction. Mainly by overdoing it.

If you find your symptoms are getting worse. Take a break for 1,2 or 3 days then start where you left off, but for less period, and less tension. Every penis is defferent in what it can tolerate.

I found keeping pictures of progress helpful. They help to see if symptoms are worsening as well as improving.
As long as you take it easy. You can't go wrong with tractiion.
I consider it the no.1 tool to beat Peyronie's. It's definitely improved my condition.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.

I have a curvature of about 40 degrees. I met with the urologist (supposedly a specialist in Peyronies) and he did not think that traction therapy would do any good by itself but might be useful after Xiaflex. He jumped straight to the Xiaflex option. The videos I saw where the Restorex was used indicated that it worked, but all the doctors had a chuckle about it, seeming to laugh it off.

Seems to me there is no loss in trying the RestoreX. If I decide to go down the Xiaflex road, I can use it again at that time.

Having read the studies, I don't think I would consider a device other than RestoreX as it requires less time to be worn. Since I am working at home all the time due to COVID, there is no reason to not try the traction therapy first.

i dont understand how some "experts" are able to just ignore modern literature just like that. unbelievable. treatment of peyronies is 10 years behind and most docs dont take it seriously
