Hello everyone, and thanks to those that made this forum possible. I look forward to sharing my experience in the hope that it can help others, and also gain insight from the community.

I have suffered from peyronie's disease since 2011. This is my story. In the late summer of 2011, after a minor trauma, I looked down at my erect penis one day and noticed that it was slightly curved to the left. This freaked me the hell out! [It turned out that it was only about a 5% curvature, according to the urologist I eventually saw.] I got on the phone to my doctor, who was concerned but not incredibly concerned. I got referred to a good urologist. He induced an erection and was kind of in disbelief when he saw my erect penis, telling me that I barely had any curvature and he was not even sure he would call it curved. Maybe 5%. I just could stand the fact that it looked different than before (which it truly did - it used to be 100% straight, which women had commented on). I also had lost a little bit of length. But he said there just was nothing to be done about it, that the only real option was surgery but that didn't make sense for me. I felt a little relieved, but also frustrated.

However, I got used to my new, slightly curved penis. After I had sex with a few woman that fall, I realized that it still worked just fine and was not a problem. It still bothered be, nonetheless. Fast forward a few years. I had another trauma (woman on top mishap). Not a bad one, but it was painful, and then I had trouble getting an erection one time (probably psychological). AND, even worse - I realized I had lost some girth, which I hadn't before. This was really devastating but I still had pretty good girth. I went to a urologist. Nothing to be done still. Women seemed perfectly happy with my penis. Fast forward another few years. Another mishap with a woman on top  :-\. This time, the curve got worse and I swear I lost some length and some girth. I have lost probably half an inch of girth since the onset of Peyronie's, which is a lot.

So I recently got referred to the preeminent urologist in my area for Peyronie's (most know very little about it). I showed him pictures of my erect penis, and he said that the curvature is really no more than 10% (I think it is slightly higher), that he did not recommend Xiaflex (interestingly, he said it is not much more effective than a placebo, and he swore that I did not want to go through that), and that my penis is fine. He did say, however, that if I wanted to address the curve then I could try a penile traction device. He said there should be no possibility of any kind of harm, and it might well help get rid of some of the curvature. I think I am going to try it! That is what my second post is going to be about - soliciting advice from others about their experiences with traction devices. So that is where I am at.

Hello and welcome. I hope you find some help or reassurance on this board. Read up on the threads on the several boards. There are some answers to your questions

Welcome, sad, but familiar story, woman on top sex is very, very risky!, why? because you are never in control. There is a reason missionary is a good rule to follow as you control the motion, fine if you want an aggressive woman to dominate you, and she won't give a F~@< about your cock lol. Even doggy style is a lot less risky than her on top, guys don't conform to porn fantasies  >:(

I hope you get some resolve, anything under 30% curvature is very workable, particularly an upward curve, a very straight cock IMO stands out, it's not common at all.
Paul.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

I note you repeatedly have damage with a woman on top.  Are you willing to keep doing that until the damage is devastating?

A 10-degree curve is hardly worth mentioning.  No one would notice it unless you pointed it out and then they would not care.  I can guarantee you that a woman you had sex with could be interviewed and asked to describe your penis and the word curve would not even be in the description.

So the two things I get from your post and your PM are that you keep repeating injuries in the same position which you know to be risky.  On the one hand, it is almost as though you have no concern and yet you are obsessing over a 5 or 10-degree non-curve as though having a perfectly straight penis is your major concern.  Not only are both of those mindsets a little strange by themselves, but they are in direct conflict with each other.

This is written in a hurry and I don't mean it to sound like I am scolding you.  I am on my way out the door and just trying to get to the point.

I would consider traction with any good traction device (something like the X4 Labs).  It takes a time commitment, however.  (I assume your erectile functioning is good?

Hawk, it didn't sound like you were not understanding of him or his situation. But somebody has to tell him that. It makes no sense.
