peyroniesdent

Hi,

I am new here. I was recently diagnosed with Atypical Peyronie's by Dr. Tajkarimi in the Northern Virginia area.

I have a dent that has formed and worsened at the bottom left (near the base) and the bottom right (somewhat). It causes pain, a hinge effect when erect, and my erections without Cialis have been pretty weak.

I was recently prescribed Cialis, but I think it is causing tinnitus for me.

I have a ultrasound tomorrow, where the urologist has told me that he will use a shot to cause an artificial erection. He tells me that I can take a Viagra pill and masturbate to get an erection as well, but at this point I am too afraid to actually masturbate because of the pain.

The urologist tells me that one injection for the ultrasound alone shouldn't be bad for my penis. What do you guys think? I have read around here that you can do ultrasound to confirm Peyronies dianosis without an erection. But the urologist seems to be pretty adamant about doing the ultrasound with an erection.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong subforum, if so please move it.)

I would not get the shot.
Youre better off the the viagra and light masterbation. Gentle.

If he wants to induce the erection to diagnose causes of ED it makes sense and you should've ok w one shot.  If it's only to diagnose peyronies, he is uninformed and I would seek out another doc.

I received the shots during my ultrasound.  Didn't seem like too big a deal at the time.  Tiny bee sting like pain that lasts a half a second.  Just make sure the erection goes down before you leave the dr office...and it shouldn't last more than 4 hours.
