I tried the VED (SOMAcorrect) for the first time tonight and no matter how much I seemed to pump no erection occurred at all? I was pretty nervous, I don't know if this could have played a part. I can achieve an erection normally but for whatever reason my penis was stubborn in the VED. How many pumps should I expect to do to achieve an erection?

Did you live around the black rubber at the base.  If not you probably have had air being sucked into the chamber.

Which cylinder are you using.

I would think no more than 3-5 pumps you should see blood being drawn in.

Yeah I used plenty of lube and had a good seal. I could feel the pressure increasing and it felt a little strange (never used a VED before) but no or very little blood was actually being drawn in.

I was using the middle sized cylinder (cylinder B)

I think I went over 10 pumps on some attempts and still just flaccid.

I will say I was very nervous, I worry about causing more damage to msyelf with the VED so maybe my penis was in that tight/small state when you're nervous.

I was thinking of maybe starting with a semi erection next time, do you think that would be ok or would it be dangerous?

They say to never use a VED unless flaccid.

You could make sure the pump is working correctly, creating a vacuum.  You could your hand over the end and see, or even a ballon or something.

It just sound as though there is an air leak.  Have you got the rubber o ring on the pump where it joins the cyclinder?

I use the rubber o ring and I can feel the pressure increasing (it feels slightly uncomfortable if I pump too many times). The tube also fogs up.

Today things went a tiny bit better. I got an erection beforehand and then waited for it to completely subside before using the VED (just to rule out any possible turtling or hard flaccid issues). I could see the flaccid stretching further down the tube slightly when I pump but it still didn't pump blood into it really, maybe it was at 10 or 20% erection at the most. I went up to 8 pumps today and didn't want to go further because it felt like a lot of pressure. I tried the A tube today but it was too tight so I went back to the B one. Maybe my penis just needs time to get used to it? I've never used a VED before

I made some progress today! Today was day 3 of trying and I achieved an 80-90% erection at one point. I think being less nervous helped, as well as using a slicker lube on the inside of the cylinder instead of the thicker SOMA lube. Thinking sexy thoughts might have helped too lol.

I am also very lost and frustrated with the VED, I can never seem to achieve anything close to an erection no matter how I pump. My issues are the same, the pump works and the seal works, I use the insert to create the seal, but all it ever does is swell the head and base up. The rest of my penis stays as is, and it just becomes progressively more uncomfortable and unsightly as those two areas swell and my shaft more or less remains flaccid. I don't understand how anyone could achieve a full erection using these devices. There is blood that is drawn in but only to a point, then the base of my penis swells up and basically fills the whole bottom of the tube. After that, it just creases the size of my glans.

Toronto, more or less same happens to me. Base swells, jams up against sides of cylinder, but not much toward upper part of penis and almost nothing toward head. If I get a semi and then let it recede, results a but better. But getting erection in there makes me nervous.
