So Sorry......

Hello again from me. I hope since my last post so far there have been at least 50 people who have felt better in their Peyronie symptoms and erectile dysfunction :)
I have a question that I hope to answer.
Are there any men here who actually have erectile dysfunction due to low testosterone?
My testosterone results came out today and are:
T - 270 ng / dL (9.5 nmol)
Free T. - 6.0568 ng / dL (0.210nmol / l)

I believe there is a connection between erectile dysfunction and low testosterone, but it's not clear to me that the two always go hand in hand. I myself have naturally low-average testosterone (about 15 nmol/l naturally) but having been on TRT for over a year I can tell you it did nothing for my peyronies symptoms. I injured myself jelqing and I believe that is the real reason I developed symtoms and still get worse years after. The jelqing injuries triggered it and now that I have it no amount of testosterone can fix me. So long story short, I wouldn't get on testosterone unless you can no longer raise your levels naturally and truly have LOW testosterone not just borderline levels. Testosterone will probably help you build muscles, but if you have peyronies it won't magically fix your erections. I'm no longer on TRT by the way and my erections keep getting worse, but that also happened while on testosterone and being in great shape so I can't say low testosterone is really my problem.

Sorry for the confused 1st post.

Thanks for the reply popopo. There seems to be no person who has corrected their erectile dysfunction after rising testosterone. I have no curvature and the doctors say that my scar is not Peyronie's, but is woven by the fracture correction surgery.
I wonder why they write that testosterone has a function in erection, as I do not find a person who has restored his erection after raising his testosterone levels ....

I think men who truly have low levels of testosterone can have erectyle dysfunction because of it, but it's pretty rare. Most guys don't need testosterone shots and for them raising testosterone does nothing (other than build muscles). It's also important to note that those that abuse testosterone actually HARM their erections rather than help. A common side effect of steroid use is erectile dysfunction probably because it stops the natural production of testosterone. Anyway, my opinion is that if you truly need it testosterone is definitely important, but TRT is not the answer for most healthy males.

I have always had low t, or at least on the low end of t. I suffered for years from depression, poor erections and low libido. When I had a modified Nesbit to correct my fractured penis with Peyronie's Disease, I mentioned to my urologist about my lack of morning erections, libido, depression, etc, he requested a free testosterone test and my level was below normal and he suggested TRT. It has been a life saver for me, erections, no depression, and an urge for sex. Of course venous leak and Peyronie's disease worked against me, so I went for an implant.
Things are wonderful, not perfect, but sex is easy now and enjoyable. People say I seem like a younger person and most people think I am in my 50's, rather than my 60's. This has been an unexpected gain.
I am thankful for TRT.

Stepone , I was prescribed Omnidren as testosterone therapy. One every 20 days. The doctor explained to me that these values are extremely low. Now I'm afraid not to cause priapism with the injection because I'm already on Tadalafil 5mg daily. Is the combination of both dangerous?

Testosterone does little to directly cause erections.  I is more likely to increase libido which in turn results in an erection if you can physiologically have one.

Tadalafil helps with the physiological ability to have an erection when stimulated mentally or physically.  I think the chances of priapism is very unlikely and the testosterone will contribute to an interest in sex up to the point of orgasm but not contribute to priapism after orgasm.   Frequent erections are not a problem as long as there is a short break in the erection every 30 minutes to every few hours.
