Calcified-am I wasting my time?

I'm sorry for even posting this but I am just feeling gutted today.

I have a "moderately calcified" plaque.

The word calcified fills me with a sense of dread. I feel like it is the end of the world and I am wasting my time with any therapy of any kind.

It seems almost everyone on this board is "uncalcified" and therefore has some sort of hope of correcting the deformity. I feel alone. I feel the only way out is an implant and that makes me feel boxed into a corner. It is only currently a 30 odd degree upward curve. But I know it will get worse. Things don't get better in my experience. It hasn't so far. Everyone else gets these miraculous improvements except for me.

Pity party over.

Sorry everyone. I don't want to be a bitch. I realize some others here have way worse degrees of curvature. I am just feeling very frustrated.

If it makes you feel better, none of the treatments have worked for me and my dick is still inflammed and seems to be getting worse years after I initially got symptoms. I still don't know what to do and doubt even an implant would leave me better off. (Like you still need healthy tissue to put the implant in and I can't see how a surgery will leave me with LESS scarring). Anyway, I'm in the same boat of not being fixed any time soon. What works for me is taking antidepressants and hoping for a brighter future. Might be a waste of time, but so is getting treatments that don't work and frustrate you even more.

I'm pretty sure I read a few posts on this forum about people seeing improvements with calcified plaques. Have you tried traction or VED? Also, you should try using hand warmers, they could help you.

Popopo, your profile says you didn't see any improvements with VED. How long were you using the VED for and did you try traction or heat? Antidepressants may be making your symptoms worse, try fixing your diet to deal with the inflammation.

Yes. I've done and am doing VED and traction. Can you point to these posts?
