Hi, all. My plaque is about a cm long and a cm wide on the dorsal side. It's stayed about the same size since I first noticed it 2 months ago. I have a small indent at that spot when erect. Sometimes hard flaccid as well. My question is for those who noticed a lump before the noticed a curve. How long was the lump present before there was a noticeable change in its size? Also, how long after you noticed the lump did a curve develop?

Thanks.

(As far as I know) there is no commonality among anyone. Some people have a curve develop overnight. Some see gradual progression. Some don't develop a curve for quite a while, and then bingo. And plaque size also doesn't correlate. It is all a crapshoot. Only one thing is certain and that is if you do nothing it will get worse. Either the deformity or function or both.

I noticed a small grain sized lump, and painful erections. A small maybe 10 degree curve happened pretty rapidly. Then nothing for about 5 months. Then over the course of a month it increased to about 40 degrees. And the plaque grew steadily over those months. Sometimes it seems harder, sometimes softer. Sometimes it seems to recede and sometimes grow. Only way to really chart anything is to make sure you take accurate measurements and get a doppler ultrasound. Immediately. And start fighting everything immediately with supplements and traction/VED. Right now. Stop reading this and go do traction. And get to a specialist if you haven't already.
