Hello everyone, I am a 25 year old guy from Turkey. I fractured my penis 2 months ago. Unfortunately, it was not noticible because there was no pain or swelling. But still, I saw two different uros, both told me I was OK. Over time, I started  showing some symptoms which was enough to make me think something was wrong. Penile pain, hard flaccid, turtling etc. Finally on July 12, another uro noticed the fracture. He is my current doctor and he gave me colchicine and vitamin e. Also told me not get erections for weeks. ( I dont have ED btw) After 3 weeks,I am in worse condition. Pain got worse,  if I get a morning wood, I get pain whole day. Saw my doctor again after a painful morning wood and he told me it could take 3 months to heal. I asked him if a surgery is possible, he responded negatively. "I only operate right after the fracture" thats what he said. I wonder why. What is the difference? I hear it wont get any better over time, people who went through the same thing never said it gets better over time. Most of them suffer from ED or peyronies or both. So, what is the point in waiting? I guess I dont have vascular leakage, since I could get very hard erections during this two months. Even had sex couple of times. Is the pain I have a normal thing for the "healing" proccess? He told me he would operate if I get curvature after the fracture is healed. What should I do? I am almost certain it wont heal itself over time. Please, share your thoughts and experiences, also enlighten me about doctors refusal of delayed surgery.
25 year old with penile fracture. Fracture happened on May 30. No surgery, only conservative treatment. Uro thinks it was not a big one. No ED, no peyronies so far. Doctor says Peyronies Disease is possible. Constant penile pain, turtling, hard flaccid.

After 24h/48h they don't operate after fractures because the consensus is it is not worth it. The damage is already done and it is better to heal like that.

Your fracture judging by what you describe was not major. So the only thing you have to do is wait. Literally that. Don't masturbate, don't have sex. Totally ignore your penis as best as possible for 2 months. The pain will go away. Mine did.

That's it. Obviously you will be anxious and you won't be able to think about anything else. But you will definitely be able to cope as time goes by. No amount of posting, asking for help or read about this will make you go back to Pre fracture.

Pfract, once again, thank you. I know I post too much, but this question got stuck with me. You basicaly gave me all the info i need. But I'd like to ask a favour from you. I know you also fractured your penis and it healed without surgery. I looked at your previous posts, but since you are an active member, it is hard for me to track your story in the past 5 years of time. Would you be so kind to write a summary of your story? Your fracture, when it was diagnosed, your Ed, treatment, how severe was your fracture, did you have ED from the begginig or did it start over time? I know I ask for too much but I can't track your story from your previous posts and it would give me a much more clear idea of what expects me and maybe other people who are going through this.

Sorting through my history is very easy. Just see my member profile and then go to the last posts. Should be there, the ones from 2015. You can get more information online on pubmed

search for ''penile fracture'' that will keep you busy.

Short version of this is: you have good erections after fracture? Good. No further treatment. You have some ed? Pills. Viagra or Cialis daily. You have bad Ed? Pills + vacuum and/or injections.

That's what you need to know for now. That you have solutions. Now go read.

Pfract gave great answers and advice

Once the pain subsides and your heal, you can begin improving your penile health through various means. If you have a dent, traction and VED. If you have ED, zero carb / exercise or supplements and drugs. You are still so young and this CAN serve to better you as a man if you let it. I know how much you must be struggling but many of us have been there or in similar situations.
