Confused if i have Peyronies Disease or not.
« on: July 29, 2019, 02:11:45 AM »

I'm 22 and I have a very very slight dent on the left side of my shaft only noticeable when flaccid.
Its not hard and I have no other indications of Peyronies Disease such as Erectile Dysfunction or pain when erect.
Just wondering if I'm freaking out over nothing.

I see my doctor tomorrow but I'd appreciate some input or advice.
Thank you.

A dent is a dent, meaning it is Peyronie's (in my strong opinion), or pre/early Peyronie's.

Your doctor will say it's normal and want to wait and see. You can see a Peyronie's specialist but there is no guarantee that an ultrasound will show scarring. Typically in the early phase there is just a dent.

Now, whether this dent gets worse or gets better is another question and will depend on some different factors, such as if you have a congenital curve, your diet, the frequency of masturbation and how you masturbate, etc. Dents can be smoothed our or filled out with traction and VED quite effectively.

Pain during an erection is not a prerequisite for Peyronie's at all. A lot of us simply have indentations.

When did it appear? Did you have an injury beforehand?

Do you have bending flaccid AFTER masturbation?

Don't sweat, I would (if you can) take a shot of the indentation on your phone that way you can look back in weeks/months to see if it has progressed, or improved  :)

As long as the indentation fills out when very erect then I think that's all good, and only have sex with a 'full' erection and limit masturbation, if you masturbate use lube and something like a Tenga egg lol  :), oh and welcome!

Hey Buckerball, we're all glad you're here.  Great resources here to get questions answered and see what other guys' experiences have been. But every case is going to be different.

I agree with Paolo - take some pictures from all different angles and keep doing that. You'll need to be able to compare the dent over time to know if it is progressing or not.

And don't be afraid to get multiple opinions.  Most GPs don't know anything about Peyronie's, and probably most urologists don't, either. Look for someone in your area that has experience with the "disease" so he knows what the early signs are and how to get you into the appropriate treatment ASAP (if needed).  The old "wait and see" thing drives me crazy, because by the time the full blow bend/curve develops, you'd already know it was Peyronies Disease.  But we're wanting to avoid that from happen by being proactive and getting to work right away.

So that's my advices - lots of pictures to document, and a second / third / fourth opinion until you get someone who knows what he's talking about.

Good luck! And let us know how it's going.

Have tried: X4Labs Extender; Phallosan; Jelqing; Manual Massage & Stretches; VED Pump; DMSO + Iodine, Vit E; Ultrasound.
Curve gone from 90 degrees to 20.
Still have hour glassing, which I HATE
Open to new suggestions & ideas.

The dent is only after masturbation mostly. It's there some days when flaccid before masturbation and some days its not there at all.
I also have a vein on that exact side that skews my view of the straightness.
I'm doubtful I have peyronies 100% but if I've learned anything from these posts it's not to wait to find out.
I do have hydrocele currently from a sports injury though so I don't know if that would effect it.

Thank you guys I appreciate every bit.

Deformity after masturbation / sex is penile damage and early Peyronie’s, yet no doctor will diagnose it because they can’t treat it. Diagnoses are designed around surgeries and drugs. Like you, I thought I was fine and urologists even told me so. Five years later I had an erect deformity. Research the forums and learn what you can. You have possibly the only early warning sign of the disease known to the community. That doesn’t mean it has to get worse, it just means you should be aware and take precautions in every way possible.

NeoV is right and i would also suggest an aggressive approach with drugs, but definitely stay away from any type of physical treatment etc. Just let it heal, don't force erections and try every drug you can, if it takes out pain it probably will stop progression(at least partly)
