Am I experiencing the onset of Peyronie's?
« on: June 30, 2019, 10:50:36 PM »

I recently had a penile injury through jelqing and over masturbation. The one positive is that I didn't have an obvious injury after jelqing (I only did the strokes like 15 times when people recommended like 200 in one session.) but I did masturbate multiple times in the days following that tiny session. The second time I had trouble getting an erection, and when I finally did I had instant premature ejaculation and an ache on one side of my penis.

It's been almost a week and I have been dealing with Hard Flaccid symptoms and an ache on one side of my penis. This ache is not constant, but today it has been pretty prevalent.

One thing I noticed from people who damage themselves through jelqing they typically have pain right away accompanied by something like a popping sound. I had neither. I believe I caused damage in the masturbation following jelqing.

Anyway, what are some of the early symptoms of Peyronies Disease? I don't see any hourglassing or feel any bumps or anything. It's only been a week, so perhaps it hasn't been long enough for these types of symptoms to develop. I have also been getting erections in the middle of the night, multiple of which have been full. If I get an erection (currently it is difficult) it is not painful to have the erection, but I was slightly aching after the erection went down (I did not ejaculate as I only wanted to test if I was capable of getting an erection).

I was told I could potentially prevent calcification if I go on a keto diet? Is there truth to this? Should I began ASAP?

This sounds like penile damage and inflammation, which should be treated just as seriously as Peyronie's. Peyronie's really is a result of that, and a spectrum that shouldn't be separated from it's lesser forms (even Erectile Dysfunction, penile bending after sex). Penile health is penile health. Diet is a major way to tackle inflammation and is critical, and I do still firmly believe Peyronie's to be metabolic, as well as even premature ejaculation (read up on that if you like).

You can always see a specialist, but I would not expect much with your current symptoms. You could try supplements and drugs as well.

Is there a possibility that what I am experiencing is just temporary? I'm guessing I will know more in the coming weeks as it is really soon since the injury.

I currently have L-Arginine already that I can take, and for the Hard-flaccid syndrome I saw someone talking about using Ginkgo Biloba to help improve circulation and heal nerve damage. Should I go and buy ACETYL-L-CARNITINE and COQ10 ASAP?

I do believe there is some slight nerve damage as the corpus cavernosum feels a bit off and almost half numb with my morning wood erections.

I'm not going to lie I was very calm today and positive until someone on reddit told me I probably have Peyronies Disease and since then I've been freaking out and I think its directly caused the pain to be worse today.

After reading your post it seems as though Peyronies Disease is simply the result of how the injury heals? So there is a real possibility that whatever tear/soreness I have can just heal normally? If so that is pretty comforting, but I would like to be cautious and reduce inflammation through diet in the coming weeks while I see if my member recovers properly. Any more tips?

ALSO one more note to add: I already have and always have had a penis with a relatively strong upward curve. Ofc no pain or any issues. Does that mean I am more prone to Peyronies Disease?

Yes congenital curves put you at risk for Peyronie's. This was the case for me, massively.
Traction has helped me with that dramatically. Be very gentle with your penis and let it rest for now.

I highly recommend diet / traction and nothing else really, but that's my stance and I completely understand other views or preferences.

Should I be going for keto or just limiting my carbs and if I do have carbs make sure its whole grain, etc?
