I can't tolerate Pentox. Is there anything else that can substitute for it like any of the monoclonal antibody drugs like humira?

I tried Coq10 Tony. Made me feel really good mentally. I really think it made my erections worse because it made my heart rate increase. I got high blood pressure from 2 doctors during the time I took Coq10. I quit taking it and my erections improved. Haven't had a doctor test my BP since then. Ashamed because Co 10 got me out of depression. But when I tried to get an erection, all I got was my heart racing. Now it may effect everyone differently. I read where it eases Peyrones pain. It also made me more energetic . But did nothing for for my dick curve or my erections. I got more of a hard flaccid

Ubiquinol Makes me nervous too. So does the acetyl carnitine. I'm trying to get used to the Pentox by taking 200mg. in the AM. But so far even that is causing a ton of anxiety. This is because of protracted wd syndrome from ativan. Normally, 5 years ago, I could drink 10 cups of coffee a day. Now if I even had a sip I have a panic attack. So any xanthine derivative is not good.

Going to keep trying on the Pentox. But interested if the biological drugs could substitute.

Try 90% coco lindt Dark chocolate samsung. 2 squares for breakfast did wonders for my anxiety. Stuff acts like Prozac. Not sure why. But it has helped others

BubbaDawg,  Do you have any objective studies, drug interaction warnings, or other credible objective data that CoQ10 can elevate blood pressure or cause a racing heart, or weaken erections?

I always encourage members to reference such data to back up making a connection between cause and effect so we can evaluate the evidence.  A member saying they make a correlation between an outcome "B" after doing "A" is less reliable than flipping a coin or consulting a soothsayer without any objective reference.

Many readers (dozens or hundreds) grab it and run as though it is a fact.  It is how superstition, old wive's tales, and false information, get promoted.  Our main goal at the PDS is to replace such a trend with an evidence-based approach.

My experience with CoQ10 was very different that Buba had
Quoteheart rate increase
No hearth rate increase
Quoteerections worse
Better erection
Quotehigh blood pressure
No high blood pressure (120/80)
Quoteit may effect everyone differently
Agree at 100%
I had to stop because the price here (where I am living) is prohibitive and the last shipment my sister sent me from the US was confiscated by the customs as it is available in the local market.

I was just saying what I thought it did to me. I never said it was a normal side effect of the drug due to a study. I had good blood pressure readings until I took co10 . Then 2 doctors got readings of 160 and 170. The only other things I was taking was e and trt. So I quit co10 . Could not quit the other 2. Anyway haven't been back to the doctor to see if my BP is better. My erections have improved since I quit co10. I had no erections before that when trying to have sex. But even disregarding that it had no positive effect on my dick that I could tell. I read up on some uses for co 10. Only says it helps with peyrones pain. Well I have no pain anyway. Did make me feel mentally better. But hyper.
Relying on these studies is not always the best thing. One study can show this and one study can show the exact opposite. Studies are sometimes done on mice that dont translates when it comes to humans. Some studies come from human experiences. That is what I was saying. MY experience using this drug long term. I have a BP tester. Just have not gotten the high reading the doctors do. Maybe it is defective . Not sure

That is exactly the point.  With studies, one can investigate the issues such as mouse, test tube, person, or size of the sample, blind or double-blind. They can compare the findings compared to other studies. (Which in spite of what you say USUALLY do NOT totally conflict with each other).  If they do you can usually read the study and determine why.  If that is inaccurate what do you think about someo0ne basing a belief on one guy's stated impression based on no follow-up ????
