Hi there,

It has been a month that I am using Cialis. I have had good results with it soo far. Errections were stronger (still the glands remain soft), morning wood every day and generally feeling better.

Yesterday I have had a test done for MRI to see my kidney function. It showed that my GFR is at 78 which has got me worried again. Last year my GFR was around 92. Could it be Pyronie that my kidneys are being effected? I have plaques on corpus spongiosm and reduced urine stream. Has anyone faced a deterioration in Renel / Kidney function as result of pyronie or even Cialis?

Feeling awful. Hoping that I dont have to start with fighting another parallel battle here.

Thanks

Hawk

Neither the medical community nor this forum have ever made any suspicious connection between renal function and Peyronies Disease. Peyronies itself is not a systemic body wide disease  Peyronies Disease is but a term for a condition that results in scaring of the elastin tissue of the tunica.  It is scaring that develops where a scar is not needed to repair a wound.  There can be some conditions that contribute to Peyronies Disease such as diabetes and others.  I guess it is possible that there could be some underlying condition that is contributing to both.   With tens of thousands of members it is also almost certain that there have to be a percentage of other members that have renal issues but a search of kidney or renal on years of posts show no reason to even suspect a connection.

Best wishes.

Right. I thought so too. Actually I ahve an MRI tommorow  and I am FREAKING OUT. First because of the injection for induced errection. Dont know how much its gonna hurt. I have ED aswell so i may not work .

Secondly the inject a dye for MRI in order to see the vein clearly and apparently this dye is bad for kidneys. Like real bad. Thats why I have had blood test done yesterday to bring the results to them and adding to my anxiety I now have to worry my by renal function. I know having MRI is very important but i just cant seem to keep calm.

Nephrogenic systemic sclerosis only happens to people exposed to IV gadolinium if their GFR is low.

Any family physician/internist will know about this. If you have CKD, you need to mention it before going in for your MRI.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

The injection is virtually painless.  Some get an aching erection depending on the agent used and length of time the erection lasts.

Hi all. Just an update. Had an MRI and felt nothing. Feeling almost stupid for worrying this much. Nothing hurt at all.

Unfortunately the injection did not work all the way because they did not give me any time for manual simulation but it was semi errect. Results are awaited in a month.
