Does it do damage? How often should I be doing it? I hate looking at it so have been doing only when necessary. Is there anything to worry about making it worse?

If you use plenty of lube (if circumcised), are atleast 80% erect and enjoy it (no pain) it will could help, and will not worsen peyronies!

I got a lot of benefit in both erection quality and Peyronies Disease pain after going through a rather long NoFap flatline.

Yes - I realize there is no research on it. But I think the flatline improved things for me.

I disagree.

I think it is definitely not good. Honestly, you have to experience it to believe it. I resisted NoFap for years. Thought it was BS. Then did NoFap for weeks and eventually fell into a "flatline" - which was horrible. Basically your penis feels dead. Resist the urge. Push through it. This went on for weeks. Completely limp. No desire to have sex.

And then I had intercourse. My God. Much stronger erection and much more sensitive. Night and day difference. The torture was worth it. Then again - you have to go through it and experience it. Or you can wait for clinical trials to come out. (Will never happen; there is no money in it.)

Christopher, you're not describing improvement in peyronies but in the quality of sexual intercourse.  Certainly can be that depending on the pattern of masturbation one has—heavy porn usage for example.  But that's a whole different topic.

Once a week or less does best for me and always use lube and don't rush. Also never tighten PC muscles. If you make sure to fill out all the way and relax your pelvic area, it can be good for your penis. That said, I almost always recommend abstinence first. Then discovering when and how to masturbate or have sex. I had sex four times recently in a night and no problems, so I truly have recovered from the inflammatory nature of the disease.

What did you do to cure any penile pain? My curvature is gone, but I still have occasional penile pain post-sex.

Pain goes away with fasting, your stretching routine, and NoFap - but at times comes back post-intercourse.

I know when I look at a lot of porn and masturbate then normal sex becomes boring. This was way before I got Peyrones. Looking at beautiful perfect women. Doing everything you would want your woman to do. Then there is masturbating to a mental fantasy instead of visual. You also can lose some of your sexual desire if you masturbate regularly during the week, I guess it could be inflammatory if you didn't use lube. But really I had trouble having sex long before Peyrones if I watched a lot of Porn. There are studies on that. How Porn can negatively  effect sexual relationships

Christopher, I can only say that time and consistency got me where I am now. Post sex, if you do have pain, I recommend a hot shower with gentle traction until it goes away. Make sure during sex you really breathe into your pelvic area and do not tighten the PC muscles as I said. Even tightening a little bit used to give me post sex bending or pain. Now I really am in a great spot. I also think that some supplements might be really powerful if taken on top of fasting/low carb, but all I take now is vitamin D and pine bark now just as a test, since I liked it in the past. If you're keto I recommend you stick to monounsaturated fats in olive oil, fish, avocados, nuts etc, even though I am not against saturated fat. There are actually different kinds of saturated fats as well, so it's complex, but overall focus on monounsaturated to stay clear of inflammation.

I always felt really sad and bad about post sex pain, but I really hope you don't give up hope man.

NeoV - thank you for the advice! Pine bark is interesting because it has oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). Pretty cool nutraceutical.

And - yes. I will definitely not give up hope. Things have improved so much for me. I hope others try some of these modalities as well.

Bubba dawg - I tried NoFap before for a couple of weeks and really did not get improvements from it.

It was only until I hit a flatine ("dead dick syndrome") and stayed in this phase for a good 2 months or so that things really changed for me. Hated it, but the NoFap community recommends you just suffer through it. Definitely improved things for me.

The only thing that bothers me now is post-sex pain. It's mild, but is more of an annoying splinter in my brain. When I cure that, I will have a normal penis aside from a palpable scar where the urologist injected a bolus of Trimix.

Masturbation did not affect me too much when Peyronies started. Also did not have a dent back then, just slight curvature. But it might have increased inflammation slowly, not sure. Now when I masturbate, it definitely hurts the next day. So I am also gonna try NoFap for a very long time. At this point i am like why masturbate when you do not enjoy it and afraid its possibly gonna cause more inflammation.

Hot shower and manual traction also increases pain. So still confused how it helps you guys and gives me pain. Maybe because I don't have a palpable lump (?), instead a dent below my glans.

I'd say for now, if it's inflamed, leave it be. Don't irritate it. I still get pain after masturbation. Also, have semi erect and flaccid waisting even though it looks normal erect. Idk the extent of damage. But I had ED from Sept 2017 till Mar 2019. I can get erections everyday. But exercise like working out and stuff rn is outta the question. It's painful. I bet if I would have got help earlier and scanned, and on Pentox right away I would have prevented fibrosis. There has to be some to have pain. Do you know the extent of your damage?

JohnnyDoe - if manual traction bothers you, then don't do it for now.

The way I do it is more of a myofascial release-like traction (1 minute max per quadrant). It is supposed to feel therapeutic - not painful. Then again, maybe just hold off on it for now and try the NoFap flatline.
