Hi all, my story is here:
https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,11716.0/topicseenIronically (as I outlined in that long thread), my urologist just told me I didn't have Peyronies a couple months ago, and that my penile
hourglass/
waisting that initially occurred 8 years ago after bending my penis during sex was unrelated. He said since I didn't have any curvature while erect I had nothing to be worried about and that my situation was nothing compared to most guys he saw with Peyronies, and that he wasn't convinced I had it. I told him it had 'stabilized' about 3 or 4 years ago, and that despite no curvature, I noticed the hourglassing would sometimes take effect while
flaccid and that I felt as though it was harder to maintain erections without constant stimulation, especially if my partner is on top and gravity is working against me. I also noticed the middle of my shaft (where it hourglassed) felt more prone to bending during sex and wasn't as hard as it had been before the injury, but overall I didn't really have issues with
Erectile Dysfunction or anything and he seemed to think it was all in my head.
Well, about a week ago I began to notice a bit of a weird shape (only to the touch) on the right of my shaft. It's a bit more than midway up on the right side, kind of in the middle. Every time I'm erect I seem to feel it now, and although I am still not experiencing curvature, I took a closer look today and definitely could see just a tiny little raise in the skin where the bump is, so it's both palpable and mildly noticeable at a visual inspection (although luckily I don't think a sexual partner would ever notice unless I really pointed it out).
I'm bummed because one of the things I had going for me with my experience was that it seemed to have stabilized over the past few years, and this is the first time I can recall ever feeling any kind of
plaque to speak of. It seems crazy that it would suddenly occur right after my urologist gave me the all-clear, so I don't know if I should make another appointment or if it's all in my head and maybe it was there before and I never noticed.
Only thing I can think of is that a couple months ago (in fact, part of what prompted me to see him) was that I was dating a girl who enjoyed being on top and I had issues a couple times with maintaining erections at that angle without taking Cialis, and my theory was that the penile
waisting makes it harder for me to maintain blood flow to the area. I'm hoping that during our interactions I didn't cause further trauma to the already-weakened area and caused more scar tissue to form, but honestly, I don't recall any specific moment at which I felt any kind of pain or noticeable 'snap'/bend.
I'm looking for opinions, guidance, suggestions -- should I take ibuprofen and vitamin E for a couple weeks to be on the safe side and prevent further
inflammation? Go back to the urologist (who seemed to think I was a hypochondriac) or get a new doctor? If anyone has suggestions, I'm about 2 hours outside Philly, so feel free to recommend!
Thanks for reading my rambling worries.
