Hi guys,

I've posted recently in this sub about some restorex issues, unfortunately the bruising has not completed healed but will continue to use the device once it does.

My penis is looking very healthy and my errections are strong, clear reduction in curvature since restorex. I've just tried to use it again but my plaque is in the clamp and it is quite uncomfortable.. It's a shame, because I really feel the device was working.

I've just noticed an increase in hourglassing under my glans. I think the clamp of the restorex may have aggregated the plaque.

Should I switch over to VED at this stage?

When things get better I could maybe alternate with restorex.

Not too sure what to do. My urologist is quite useless and cannot prescribe pentox but I am on cialis and colchicine at least.

Advice please.

Use a traction device that uses a suction cup / vacuum like phallosan, or do traction by hand. I smoothed out a dent under my glands by hand. VED plus traction is great too!

Hi Greydog, I have the same issue with the clamp and plaque location so I have to clamp further away from the glans otherwise it aggravates the lump. This seems to work for increasing length and making the penis straighter. The lump size in my glans seems to be getting slightly smaller but it's slow going.

I think it would be a good idea to give RestoreX a rest for a few days to allow the bruises to heal then try clamping down further away from the lump.
Age, 40's.

Had peyronie's for more than 10 years. Developed glans lump, then had poor erections and soft glans.

Made a lot of progress over the years with diet and avoidance of sugar and high carbs. Still have the lump but it's much smaller now.

How is the plaque in the clamp?  Is it in the glans?  I'd email dr Trost for advice since you're having success with curve reduction using restorex,  how much has the curve decreased?

Hi Greydog

I'm seriously considering getting a Restorex and have made another post about it today

It does make me think though, having read your post here.  My main plaque ( I believe ) and my curvature is a couple of cm below the glans on the dorsal side. There is also quite bad narrowing around this area when viewed from above ( to the right mainly ). So I am wondering whether the Restorex might not be the best choice for this. And may be squezzing too tight on the plaque area, or the plaque itself and surrounding narrowed area

Any thoughts anyone?

The other traction devices either pull from below the glans (noose) or the actual glans itself with a suction cup (ESL40 and PMP) or clamp the glans (Restorex).  Really no way to get away from the area w traction,

Yes TonySA, I'm just wondering whether the ones that have the suctions cap are less likely to have any further narrowing effect as the noose or clamp ones. I'm assuming because of the suction around the glans these devices don't need to grip so hard below the glans. I guess it depends how tight you do it!

I still like the half hour to hour day idea of the Restorex though

Thanks for all your replies.

I will try and answer all of these questions.

Curvature reduction is around 10Deg I would estimate, but I would like to continue using the device and smooth out the remaining 8ish degrees.

My plaques is roughly 1.5cm offset to left under the glans.

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, but I think a small portion of the plaque gets into the clamp somehow. But it does seem to be my glans that is reacting badly to clamping.

I have decided to give ved a try and rest my penis from restorex in the meantime.

Will report back when I see results

Hi,

I'm reporting back. I've been using the VED (battery powered with large chamber) regularly and my penis grows to above 18cm in the device. I used to be around 18cm before Peyronies Disease. The results have been good thus far but it has not been the quick fix I naively expected. Hourglassing under the glans persists limiting a full length errection. I'm pretty sure I would be restored to normal length again when this diminishes. Have not touched the restorex in months and I feel that regular sex, bi-weekly, has helped with errections and overall libido.

In short, VED has been a good restorex substitute but need more persistence for best results.

Looking forward to integrate both VED and restorex (haven't spent this much time with my dick since I was 16!)

Good luck men!

Before I forget, my urologist did confirm that I bruised the spongy tissue in my glans using the restorex and it would likely take several months to heal.. I clamped too tight trying to prevent slippage. Be careful using the restorex even with plenty gauze.

Grey, also many have had good luck w emailing dr trost with their particular difficulties w restorex.  He's very responsive and often his advice remedies their problems.

UPDATE - I'm close to 11 months into my first injury leading to Peyronies Disease and still active. I still havent used the restorex again and till on 2.5 mg cialis and 1mg colchicine (0.5 twide daily) per day. My penis is going through changes, which are hard to describe in words. Still using daily VED but recently experienced loss of libido, which seems to be back in full force now?!. At first I thought I lost length but when I (very gently) adjust my penis curve during errection i'm actually 18cm again! Water fasted for 5 days and cut out alcohol and gone low carbs - not any major revelations but the penis somehow looks fuller and stronger. Still hourglassing under glans but it fills out quite well in VED.

I am not having regular sex anymore and also rarely masturbating. I am very hopeful that things are improving, it certainly feels that way. I am not bothered by the mild curvature as much, since it has decreased but would like to minimize the hourglassing and regain the feeling of a solid "once piece cock" if you know what I mean.

Wishing everyone the best of luck!

UPDATE:

To all curious - have been easing my way into the restorex again according to instruction manual (13min sessions currently - as if I were using it for the first time). I'm still on week one and I insert my penis into the VED immediately after traction. I do this to oxygenate my glans, which bruises easily after the clamp of the restorex. I am not following the 10s protocol of hold and relax but pump between 50%-80% for blood re-circulation without erection. Keep in VED for a few minutes and 1 to 3 pumps only, mainly to save time. This is comfortable for me and I do not any experience pain.

The very good news!: My penis almost completely straightens out inside the VED after using the resotorex and there is  reduced hourglassing!!!

Before, due the the curve, a part would touch the sides of the plastic container. Now it is almost completely straight!

To me this is proof that the traction, from which ever device/method, is able to loosen up the plaque or fibrotic tissue formations enough to enable regular blood flow to the entire penis. Yes, it know this has been proven over and over again by the research papers published on this site, but to see it happen instantaneously is truly amazing.

For all of you experiencing bruising post restorex treatment, either stop using the device (recommended) or give yourself an extended brake and use with caution and VED.

Will update in future for more improvements.

Great to hear about your improvements, man! Keep it up for the love of God
But hey, I need to get started on VED asap but I'm not sure which one to get or even where to buy one? Could you please hit me up in the PM with some links to good stores or online-pharmacy's of sorts?
Thanks man and God bless
