Is my Peyronie's growth & mass "normal"??? Rapid progression lately!!

Hello all, thank you for reading and any advice!

I started w a pea-sized lump about 2/3rds up the shaft on the lower right side in November 2018, and it stayed that way for several months. But in the past few weeks, I've seen a rapid progression! At this point, the way it's spreading has me pretty freaked out!! Random pain with erections. Been using Cialis 5mg since April 4th, which has helped alot w sex. Ice packs after sex sometimes. Very loving long term Wife, but she is definitely frustrated and scared too.

I can now feel almost identical "growth" in between both sides of the Corpora Cavernosa, essentially wrapping around the top & sides of my Urethra, with some of the mass actually under the right side of the Urethra. The mass is growing/spreading closer and closer to the Glans! It's a lil hard to tell exactly, but it feels like there is some palpable mass just under the edge of the top of the Glans. There is a noticeable indentation on top of the shaft just below the Glans when erect. The mass is about the size of a large Marble.

It doesn't feel like the plaque described by most, not to sound all doomsday but it feels more like a mass or tumor. I'm not saying that it's not normal plaque & scarring, I'm just saying that's not what it feels like. I can move the mass, it's moldable (painful tho), it is not hardened.

Anyone else fit this description?? Does my description sound strange to you guys? Is most of your plaque hardened? What does it feel like? I have nothing to compare to.......

I have been officially diagnosed w Peyronie's by a kind & caring but uneducated Primary Care Doc, and an asinine uncaring Urologist. The only "tests" I've had done was the 2 Doc's hands on my penis squeezing it. I have not had any other tests done. What tests should I be asking for? Specific names of tests would be helpful! I did ask for the Doppler Ultrasound, and was told by the Doc that he had never heard of such a thing. In his words "It must be a UK Forum you read, they do things different over there"

I have some twisting, and a curve to the right and slightly downwards. I have been on TRT for a few years, so my testosterone levels are not an issue.

I do see a Specialist soon, fingers crossed I get some real help!

Hey buddy. Yeah it's a strange condition Peyronies and progresses in all sorts of ways with all sorts of results. I noticed an indent 2 years ago, then after a few months a curve upwards not far from the glans until it hit about 30 deg. Some random pain flaccid and post intercourse.

A year later I opted for Xiaflex injections. The upward curve was the target. It worked well. Now, a year later, I'm left with a relatively straight member, however the indent remains and a similar lump to what you describe close to the glans on the other side.

You get stressed, sure, that's natural. This is our dicks we are talking about after all! But a good specialist will give you the best advice and there are several treatment options that are successful in preserving sexual and urinary function.

Sounds very similar to the way things started and progressed for me: pea-sized lump (I first thought might be cancer), then pain/ache, then progression of curvature even as the pain went away; eventually some harder areas plus more of a chord-like structure along the top of the shaft.  (But I've been fine with sex all through it.)

Thank you all for your input. I did finally see a Peyronies Disease Specialist on May 7th. He put me on the 3 meds; Pentox, Vitamin E, and Cialis. He also ordered traction, but the device hasn't arrived yet.
I was stable for about 3 weeks, then it started growing/spreading again this weekend. So frustrating!
I did read the Survival Guide before my appt w the Specialist. I asked for an ultrasound, but he was adamant it would be a waste of money.

Does anyone have experience or an opinion on the PRP Injections (P-Shot)?? This whole "watch & wait" has got me really wanting to take some sort of action....

There is no real evidence the P Shot helps for peyronies...maybe occasionally for ED...  pentox + lie dose nightly cialis + traction is not a wait and see approach but a solid treatment approach.  Keep it up and keep us posted!
