Cant get in to see the Doc for another 6 weeks. Got results this morning but i have no idea what it means. Any feedback would be appreciated.

MRI-

IMPRESSION:
An approximately 1.0 x 1.2 x 3.3 cm teardrop shaped signal abnormality
interposed between 2 corpora cavernosa likely posttraumatic
seroma/hemorrhage.

FINDINGS:
There is an approximately 1.0 x 1.2 x 3.3 cm teardrop shaped increased
T1 and T2 signal abnormality noted in the midline between the 2 corpus
cavernosum without any enhancement on postcontrast study likely
related to posttraumatic fluid collection/hemorrhage. The remainder of
the corpus cavernosum, corpus spongiosum appears unremarkable. The
tunica albuginea is intact. No extra corporal hematoma is identified.

The visualized portions of testes appear unremarkable. Small
physiologic fluid in the visualized scrotal sacs is seen.

No enhancing mass is noted.

Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.

Why did you had an MRI to begin with?

They say in the report, that besides that your penis is in good shape. That's my understanding.

i haven't had an erection in about a month. I went into urologist for that, and what felt like a thick cord in my penis. He felt the induration and had ordered the MRI. But cant get ahold of them at the office and dont have another appointment for another 6 weeks.

Hmm... What was the event that caused it? Any idea? Did you had any fall onto an hard object with your scrotum area? Rough masturbation session? Medication you took? Any health condition?

The best is if you can get a full examination. Testosterone blood levels, general blood work, eco Doppler to assess blood flow in penis... What exactly are you familiar with in terms of guidelines from the urological associations, and top doctors recommended course of action?

Have you tried erection pills? How did they work?

MRI findings are saying that you have a small section between your corpora cavernosa that is either a build up of fluid or blood (they don't know which) that could have happened after an injury, but that seems to be the only abnormality they could see. it looks like they did the MRI with and without contrast and there was no difference in what they visualized both ways.

So did you have an injury to your penis that you recall?

I see. Pauly. I made you a couple of questions above. Any idea?

I cannot recall a specifit event. No sudden pain. Just gradual onset of ED And sensitivitiy.

Did you had any fall onto an hard object with your scrotum area? no
Rough masturbation session? No
Medication you took? No
Any health condition? None. Went to Doc, and he'sordeeing blood work. All vital were excellent.

I'm in the dark on next course of action. Urologist appmt isn't for another 6 weeks and I called them but they haven't called back. I'm not even sure if I should take vitamin E?

Have you tried erection pills? How did they work? Yes. No effect at all. Only semi-hard. Not enough for intercourse.

Yes, like many of the others stated the rest of your penis is okay, but, you have a hematoma, so atm, I'd recommend just let your penis heal up, don't do anything to aggravate it. Let your girlfriend know that you want to take it easy until this hematoma goes away so that you guys can continue having good sex in the future. It's a good thing it's not inside it from the looks of it. Having a hematoma inside the corporal tubes would be a really bad thing.

I can't imagine getting a penis MRI. Like $5000 or more. Insurance pay for that? Just curious.  I guess if I were in severe pain. But not for ED. Lots of things can cause ED. Lower back Lumbar can cause it. You prostate can cause it. Narrowing of your blood veins. Mental problems. Low T. Heart disease. If the penis were damage, I would think you would be in severe pain. Hopefully things will heal up by themselves and you will get back to normal. Like others have said--just give it plenty of rest. E won't hurt

Yes. You can get an MRI for the penis. It's the best way to view the corpus Cavernosum as well as rest of the body for any fibrosis. It's only expensive if one doesn't have insurance to cover it. Depends on the country too.  An MRI is a sure way to see if there's any fibrosis.
