Hi all,
I was just diagnosed today by Dr. Lue. He said I had mild peyronie's (10 degree curve with no pain), probably had it for a year, and told me to take Pentox 400mg three times a day.

I thought he seemed very knowledgeable. But, I felt very rushed, and didn't have time for any of my questions.

If you all could help, I would be grateful.

My questions are as follows:

  • Dr. Lue did not tell me do to traction.  Should I?  I am in the acute state with 10 degree curve. Would it help me?
  • I see people talking about other items like viagra, cialis, CoQ10, etc. Should I take any of those?  Dr. Lue seemed dismissive of those items when I tried to ask.
  • Anyone know about the interactions of pentox with Chamomile tea?  I usually drink that to relax. But, I read on the internet that Chamomile tea may not be a good idea when taking pentox. Anyone know.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Todaypen, traction can't hurt, if it works you might gain some length, if it doesn't work then your condition will likely stay the same. It all depends on how consistent you are with it. Some see small benefits from Viagra, Cialis CoQ10 etc also acetyl l carnitine but ask your doctor for interactions.

Chamomile tea reduces testosterone and will be counter productive to trying to get rid of peyronie's.
Age, 40's.

Had peyronie's for more than 10 years. Developed glans lump, then had poor erections and soft glans.

Made a lot of progress over the years with diet and avoidance of sugar and high carbs. Still have the lump but it's much smaller now.

Hey man! I'm surprised that happened to you with Dr Lue? People talk very good about him normally. How long did the consultation last in total? And just as a curiosity.. How old is he now?

He must have had a busy day.  That said he seems to have his talking points and treatment strategies and sticks to those.  He does believe traction is crucial w xiaflex.  Also, he isn't big on low dose nightly PDE5i, but research is showing them helpful in remodeling the plaque AND in treating Erectile Dysfunction, so I'd get a script from another doc for low dose viagra (now inexpensive, check out goodrx).

Thanks all! It is nice to at least have the dudes on this forum!

This thing has made me really depressed. But, trying to keep a positive attitude.

@TonySa, he spent about 20 minutes with me. All was good during the exam.  He used ultrasound. I had a whole list of questions, and he was running out the door. Since then, all these questions have been going round and round my head.

How much viagra per night would you take?

@BentDingDong, thanks for the tip on Chamomile. I will stay away from that.

Absolutely, immediately, and forever. Traction works best in the active, mild cases, but that does not mean it doesn't work in severe cases either. Traction is truly critical. Do so gently and do not worry about achieving high tension. Simple expand the penile tissue. VED works the same way. Even gentle, non tension traction, completely rids me of any mild hinging (although I have almost zero deformity now).

10% curve is really very mild and almost normal.  As long as you are not progressing why not just stay the course, Pentox, Coq10.
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex
