Hello to everyone and thank you for your support.

I am 34 years old and about 2 or 3 months ago I noticed that my erections were somewhat painful and concentrated in one spot where there was something hard. I wrote it off and figured it would pass, but the pain persisited and the hard spot grew larger. I am in and have been in South America for abouth 7 months now. My Spanish is good but not anywhere near the level of my English, I am from the USA, and my visit to the urologist a week ago was informative but since then I have many more questions. The urologist, who speaks decent english, felt my penis and the hard spots and diagnosed me with Peyronies Disease. No ultrasounds or any other tests were done at the time.

I was prescribed 400mg vitamin E and 1mg Colchicine which was mixed by a professional pharmacy into 1 pill daily for 60 days. I thought this would be a cure but possibly leave a scar. He told me to keep in touch with him through Email as I am constantly travelling around the continent and let him know how my conditions progress.

My symptoms are painful erections and obviously painful sex, but no noticeable change to the shape or size of my penis. I really can´t tell if the plaque build up has improved or not, but appears to be basically the same as before.

Is this a chronic condition that will persist the rest of my life? Should I begin taking Pentox? Should I get imaging done to have a baseline indentification of the amount and location of plaque build up? What is the purpose of taking cialis if I have no problems getting erections? Is taking pentox a daily thing for the rest of your life?

As a side note I have been taking Clonazepam to deal with my social anxieties and I believe this has helped somewhat with the psychological effects, because my entire life I have had body issues with the size of my penis, and know I am hearing that I am likely to lose an inch or 2???

I really have to see how this plays out but I would like to hear some first hand accounts of your experiences with Pyreiones Disease. There is a wide range of outcomes I gather and to hear some positive feedback would be great, but also realisticly speaking the truth. Please tell me how it has been for you whether it is good, bad, or ugly and how long ago you first developed symptoms.

Thanks a bunch

welcome comoseanpenn.Try to do not feel stress, whatever the outcome might be .Try to not aggravate your symptoms  it is very important. Many could not agree but i would avoid  sex  ,but if you do try gentle moves and not crazy positions and only with strong erection .Masturbate only with lubricant very gently and try to keep strong erections very important because strong erections keep penile tissue as healthy as possible and minimize more damage .soft erections during penetrative sex is a propable cause of Peyronies Disease. Please read Peyronies Disease diabetes of the penis by neov and Peyronies Disease survival guide

Como....do yourself a favor, research urologist in ur area who deal with, specialize in peyronies, and get to one ASAP. Quicker u can start any treatment, the better. Read up in threads about supplements to take. Pentox might be an option. No, it's not a lifelong prescription. It has helped some, some not. Combinations of things seem to be the way to go. But get to a uro first!
Early 50s, 7 months diagnosed. 55 degree curve, indentation at base to the left.
