Peyronies and corporal fibrosis

Hey everyone,

Five months ago I first noticed a bend in my erect penis. Since then I have seen a handful of doctors. These were not completely useless, but didn't give me more info about my condition. Recently, I went to a doctor that told me that I only have a tiny plaque, which in his opinion is simply not able to cause a bend like I have (about 15 degrees to the left, 30 upwards). According to him, trauma (which I can remember like it was yesterday) could lie at the base of some kind of corporal fibrosis.

This trauma could consist of one or more little tears in the tunica (when having a fracture the tunica would be completely teared apart). When I heard him say this, I thought this is very plausible, as i do have some weaker points visible in my both flaccid and erect penis.

He says that he can only confirm this and tell more if he conducts an MRI scan on me in erection. So I am facing a dilemma. On the one hand I refused this at first, as I am death scared that the injection will cause more fibrosis and even plaque. On the other hand, I really want to know what is going on with me. For months I have been struggling. Trying VED and gentle traction (which are supposed to be harmless if done correct and carefully) only made things worse, which I think point in the direction of a tear. Also I'm often in pain, and getting erections is sometimes impossible.

What do you guys think? Should I take the risk the scan in erection?
It seems like the other option is waiting for nothing and get worse without knowing what is going on.

Thanks for your help, I'm kind of suicidal here

You need to get your anxiety under control. Do what the doctor says to do. Quit playing doctor. Or you could get a second opinion if you dont trust the first doctor. But at some point you have to put the problem in their hands and do what they say. That is why you are going to a doctor, right? Worrying is not going to help the situation
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

I am known to give out false information and post nonsense with little to no evidence to back up my claims.

Are you able to get an erection for the MRI (and sustain the test time) without an injection?  If so, I'd ask to do that-bring pics or vids on your smart phone or whatever it takes.   If not, I'd go for it and be sure to put pressure on the injection site for a full 8-9 minutes after the injection to stop all internal bleeding.
