Age - 59

Age at onset  58 (fall of 2008)

First Symptoms - I had a curving penis but went through some denial and did not seek treatment. I finally had my dr. send me to a urologist to confirm it was Peyronies. He put me on pentoxyfilline and vitamin e.  That was March 2009 I have not had many changes, maybe more curvature. Later I found Peyronies Disease Institute online and started ordering their products.

I started this alternative medicine plan on 10/16/09 It includes vitamins and systemic enzymes plus some external therapies. My urologist suggested an out of state urologist, so I am planning a consultation with him in May of 2010. I do not expect a lot but it is worth a trip and consult to me. I have been lucky so far about not having pain. It is hard dealing with this change in my self-image.
