My Penis Refuses to Inflate During VED No Matter What I do

So I have the 3 cylinder device (the Soma Correct from Augusta).

No matter which cylinder I use, my penis refuses to expand width/girth wise.

The seal is good, I'm using plenty of lubricant, I just don't know what is going on. I've even tried getting a "semi" erection to help it along, but no luck.

The only thing I can think of is that my "hard flaccid" condition is stopping the tissue from relaxing enough to let the blood come in.

When I pump, my penis will stretch a bit length wise, but the penis still stays in its hard flaccid state and won't expand.

Not sure what to do.

Maxster.............you might want to try taking Pycnogenol / Pine Bark Extract.  This might make those blood vessels healthier to create a better blood flow.  dplookin

Hi, when you have a good seal try very gently to pull the unit off, just move it about 5mm, like milking a cow if you get what i mean, see if that helps.

Also be sure you are patient.  Leave it with vacuum for several minutes then a little more vacuum for several minutes.

Not if it doesn't inflate!


In all honesty, I never strictly followed a specific protocol.  I am strictly an evidence-based guy that has to be shown that a specific protocol gave better results than another protocol in a randomized study.  I don't think any such study exists.  Who knows if a modified protocol would work better?

Tried just about everything today, the only time I can get a bit of girth expansion is when I am at full erection and then I insert into the tube... which is a dangerous game to play it seems, as everyone says not to pump with an erection.

Like I said, I'm not quite sure why my penis won't inflate properly in the tube... it has to be something to do with my hard flaccid condition, or possibly that I have some type of corporal fibrosis.

But it seems without the physiological component, chemicals that produce a natural erection, I can't get the tissue to expand.

Frankly, it makes no sense at all to me.  We know your arteries work or you would not get an erection.  It defies logic.

I assume it has something to do with lubrication/sealing. For me it is tricky, if I am not fully lubricated with a good seal, I don't get a good pump. I also cannot pump fully flaccid, I get a semi-flaccid and then pump, but even then I sometimes need to readjust multiple times until I catch a spot where it begins to fully inflate my penis without hurting it.

Hi, you sure your pump is not faulty, i had a faulty pump would not pump up, try pumping on the top of your leg see if your getting any suction.

Put that pump against the palm of your hand and make sure it has enough suction to hang on upside down.

Age 57, Onset 2010, 2” shortening, shrinking and angulation of glans, weaker erections, 30 degree bend. Mild pain few months, but far from worst symptom. Tried many ideas, not just from here, but not consistently. Moderate improvement, maybe 40%

For those suffering with the same thing maxter has- and followed his thread down- he is no longer active. Good for him. But certainly some f you may want answers- specifically the spiders. Well, I’ll be giving it a shot soon to see if the symptoms maxster describes go away, since I too have what he has going on.

And update will come out as I go and I will likely make my own thread

i also have the same problem. the base gets really thick and inflated but the tip does not at all. it just does not seem to propagate this far

Hey guys:

For some reason today I just ran across this thread about VED therapy NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I am sorry this has happened, but I still work with VED therapy and can assist any member who needs help with their VED problems.

Don't recall ever having been questioned about remedies for inability to get good vacuum pull and able to use the therapy.
