Hello,

Today I stumbled on this forum, and I'm glad I found it. I've been worrying about my penis for a while now. Whilst flaccid, there is a clear patch of scar tissue on the left side of my penis, making it curve a little to the left. This is also the case when hard. I've had this patch of scar tissue for as long as I can remember. I was wondering if this is a sign of Peyronies or that it could be from some other trauma from earlier in my life. I'm too embarrassed to ask my parents about it.

Is it scar tissue on the skin that you can see or underneath and not visible?

It's a very noticeable patch of scar tissue on the outside of my penis

To specify: the scar looks a bit like a burn scar looks (hypertrophic scar). At least this is what looks most familiar to me.

I'm 19 years old
I never measured my penis curvature, but I would assume it's somewhere around 40-45°
I'm not sexually active

That scarring you see is on your skin. That really has nothing to do with the kind of scarring that causes your erection to curve. And from the pictures from my opinion you really present more as congenital curvature. I am guessing it has always been this way??

My curvature has been present for as long as I can remember back in elementary school.
I'm glad the scarring has nothing to do with peyronie's, but it's in fact causing the skin on my penis to contract on that side, making it curve to the left both flaccid and hard. Is there any way I can reduce the stiffness of the scar tissue? Any help is welcome

I see what your talking about, but I really don't think that is causing your curvature. It really looks congenital to me. And you ahve enough foreskin that as you get erect the skin on your penis isn't really stretching that much.
