What could I have possibly damaged inside my penis?

So my symptoms started after a surreal experience inside my penis.

I have seen two Urologist who couldn't make any sense of it. Can you?

First I just had some sharp stinging pain in my glans, but a week later after sex and while still having an erection, I got a shock wave going through my penis from the top to somewhere to the base. The feeling was so weird and from what I can recall, it felt like something foreign went through my urethra from head to base like a vibrating wave. This sensation did not last long but was definitely disturbing. If it really was inside the urethra I don't know, but it felt like it was or else in the middle of the shaft.

After this vibrating sensation, I developed a buzzing sensation at the exact area and length where the shock wave had been. It felt like insects where buzzing/moving around quickly. Is this what inflammation feels?

The buzzing was just discomfort at first and developed into a pain that worsened over the next 10 days.

After all this, I suddenly noticed that my penis curved to the left.

The urologist was not interested in making an Ultrasound and said to focus on pain management. Well great... I am in pain for nearly 6 months now and getting extremely fatigued and depressed about this situation.

Very much sounds like nerve damage or possibly a scar tissue forming and pressing on nerves.

Find a better Uro.

Damn. I've had that same vibration feeling before too. However it would last like 2 seconds then go away. It felt so weird. I figured it was blood ir something working on fixing the injured area of my penis.
Penis injury in late 2017. A lump formed at injury site that caused no deformity, just pain and a palpable lump. Pain is improving through proper rest and use, diet, and mindfulness. I am always learning and looking to share things that have helped.

I had the shockwave just once.

In the week that followed, I noticed that my penis head was hinging to the left when holding my penis up. That's when I really started to worry about damage. Also, I could not even get a semi-erect penis, while before the incident it was a breeze to get an erection at any time of the day.

Again a week later when I was able to get semi-erect there was a clear curvature to the left, about 30 degrees. Did not feel any plaque, but I do have a hard cord running on the left side from the base to almost under the glans. I would think this related. I had a few times very sharp pins-and-needles sensations in my glans.

When flaccid and hanging I can see that my penis is slightly rotated to the left on its axis as well. Something is really not right here...

Pain is common w peyronies.  Pain can feel very different from one person to the next.  Given pain and sudden onset this may very likely be peyronies.  You need a urologist w experience w this disease who will do an ultrasound. Consider starting pentox (if not available or add if it is-coQ10 ubiquinol), low dose daily tadalafil, traction and/or VED asap. You've caught this early so it should very responsive to treatment.

You've deceived my penis and onset of peyronies perfectly!

JohnR, I noticed in your story that you mentioned pain with erections? I have the opposite, that an erection reliefs the pain.

I am having trouble getting a good erection since all this happened, but the few times I had an erection the curvature is definitely less.

When flaccid, my penis is completely lifeless, soft and floppy. I really can't recall that this was my penis at all.

JohnR

Yes, that's how I first knew something was going on.

When flaccid most have no pain or anything it's only when an erection occurs do you usually feel it as the plaque retards stretching and growth.

I have a continuous nagging pain when flaccid... In the last few months, the pain even developed in my perineum to as far as the rectum and most of the time sitting is uncomfortable... I find some relief when lying down.

Not sure what I am dealing with here, but besides symptoms of Peyronies I have quite some symptoms of Pudendal Neuralgia as well...

I am on the waiting list to see a neurologist for a consulting session.

Pablo88

its exactly the same for me too, flaccid pain all the time and no pain at all for erection no length loss that ive noticed bit a lot of girth loss since this started also have the typical plaque in the middle of my shaft which has increased in size, ive read a few older posts of people describing the same symptoms although they are not the typical peyronies symptoms which is why i think my urologist dismissed me when i told him i had no erection pain only pain when flaccid and didnt believe that i had a problem even though im in nagging pain all the time, i plan on seeing a specialist peyronies doctor soon as i have the funds and hope to get the diagnosis and get a legit prescription of pentox only for the safety issues incase i have adverse effects, i smoke and my diet is terrible which is problably making the inflammation worse so its healhy anti-inflammatory foods and a smoking ban for me from now on we need to fight this from all angles

The session with the neurologist was not very helpful. He can refer me for an EMG test tho.

I will go back to the urologist as well to discuss the option for an ultrasound test. Would an ultrasound scan in flaccid state be enough? I am seriously worried to get an injection in my penis and getting more trouble.

A little good news is that the pain has subsided to a level where I do not have to take strong painkillers at the moment. It is more of a continuous discomfort level now.

Also, I was also able to get an 80%+ erection when taking 100mg Viagra and the curve is less than when having a semi-erect penis. What was kinda weird tho, is that my penis in an erect state just falls to left side from its base when lying down on my back. Like it is being pulled in that direction and I have the feeling there is also something wrong at the base... pfff... worrisome situation.

Fubared

I have the same symptoms as pablo88 now. I have burning while flaccid and burning in my rectum and they happen at the same time and no burning while erect and no visible structural issues yet. I don't get it. Is it Peyronie's or is it prostatitis 🤷🏼‍♂️? Or is it nerve damage. I was VEDing 2 days before  but lightly and didn't overdo it, so I'm confused and my uro/Peyronie's specialist never mentioned my Peyronie's in my last visit to me, just possible prostatitis.
Been battling years and was fine and improving in stable stage
Now back again with inflammation and worries about curving and ED.
Have left middle of shaft slight bend and two dents on the distal top of the penis with no ED.

This post is old and the thread crestor hasnt logged in in the last 3 years, but my symptoms are very similar and maybe someone found something that helps him and can share with me?

I have 3.5 years of non ending flaccid pain now and i think if i wont find a solution any time soon i may really consider suicide. My Life is "okay" not very good but good enough to live, but this pain on a  mans most private region, that i can also not talk about with anyone, and am pretty much alone with ( i dont even have classic Peyronies Disease symptoms, probably a more rare and unlucky condition than other sufferers)  is so fristrating. F~@< i dont wanna have pain hurt several hours a day for the rest of my life. If doctors can do nothing to heal it id prefer to remove it in fact, what is some sex some arousal worth for daily hours of pain? I never did anything wrong to deserve this. Not even hitler deserves this i am serious rn.
26y, injured at 21 :/

Reinjured late 2019 when having sex with weak errection.
No curvature, but rotation of the base to the left about 30degrees

I am no doctor and have no medical experience.

But what do have is experience in self defense where we often attacked nerves that we can dig, punch, and jab into. Also, from decades of training, I sustained injuries that messed with my nerves.

What you said sounded like an irritated nerve (look up Google Images for penile nerve). If you ever hit your funny bone (which is never funny), the sudden shock followed by vibrating weirdly painful, weirdly numb, sounds a lot like what happened to you (?).

Can you pinpoint where the pain starts and ends?

I have the same thing and I think it's either pudendal neuralgia, trapped pudendal, or hard flaccid. Hard flaccid is a broad term that is used to describe the symptom that could be caused by anything. We'll hope it's a calcified Alcock's canel or tangled nerve and vein.

I used to worry a lot and touched and adjusted a lot. Which made the problem worse. I still have hard flaccid, but it's not as severe as it used to be (touch wood).

If you do any stretching for it, be gentle and don't tear anything, you don't want fibrosis to develop in your pelvic floor or in the canal.

The urologist that did the ultrasound on me asked me if I wanted PGE1 shot, but I opted to take 100mg Viagra half hour before I went in. I prepared a porn video and a headset to watch quietly, he didn't have a problem with me doing that while they were scanning me.
