Pain after day 1 with VED

So I used my VED for the first time last night, and again this afternoon. I followed the protocol for the most part. The first time I may have gone 10-15 mins, then the quick pump & release method. This afternoon I did it following the protocol exactly.
However at the end on the second cycle I felt some pain. And hours later I have some pain, especially if I feel the scars.
I developed my first scar only 6 or so months ago, and I'm quite concerned I might be causing injury and possibly making more scars. I'm not going to use the VED for at least a few days, and say a few prayers this pain doesn't mean I've made things much worse.
I have a minor bend, and perhaps there is little to gain from VED in my case. Maybe my 15 min at full pressure without pain or discomfort, is what's to blame for my pain. I'm getting random jolts of pain, but thankfully it's pretty minor.
Mostly I'm scared I've made things worse. The only injury I can imagine that caused my Peyronies Disease was from Jelqing. My initial reason for trying jelqing was to help with ED issues I developed. Yet the notion of increasing size became a wishful bonus effect. I never did anything extreme at all, and followed the same directions many others used. Yet I'm left with the sense that I've given myself Peyronies Disease by being foolish and vain. VED causing more Peyronies Disease issues would feel like another thing to blame myself for.
Is pain a common or possible benign side effect?

Hi, you may be going a little to much as its your first time with a VED, have you got the 3 cylinder VED, if so try a larger cylinder, if not make sure you are not to tight in cylinder, use plenty of lube gel the full length of your penis, and take it easy for the first few days, don't pump up to full erection yet, get your penis used to the vacuum and increased blood flow in and out.
71 UK, ED from 2011, unable to get full erection, Peyronies Disease from  2015 acute bend to left, VED & hand traction + 20mg of Tadalafil twice a week, or when i'm feeling lucky, forum member November 2017. Fav Film&Song, TheGoodTheBadThe Ugly. A Day in the Life

Thanks Monty. I'm nearly certain I did over do it. You and our resident VED guru both suggest that I did.
Thankfully the pain seems to have gone and I'll still wait a few days or weeks before I resume, if I do. I'm going to try and learn more about VED risks regarding Peyronies Disease, and do a risk vs reward assessment then.
Since I'm not effected by Peyronies Disease very much, I'll need to more carefully consider each and every treatment. Rather than the near panic and paranoia I've been living with, trying to do as much as I can to avoid and reverse Peyronies Disease issues. I'm not suggesting any treatment is risky or ineffective. I'm just going to step back from the "I'm going to take and try everything possible, no questions asked" approach.

It hurt for me at first, not sure if it should...at all...but eventually I got used to it. I made sure to pump very very slow starting off. I thikn I could only handle about 2 pumps max at first. Now I pump like its no ones business

VED is a good tool, but should be careful how you are using it.
In my opinion:
Quote15 min at full pressure
Is the reason of the pain. Most cases the pain will be over after a short time

15 minutes at full pressure insane! I wont hold for longer than a minute. That is really pushing it. Rest relax and try again when pain is at 0.
