Bromelain + ionthoforesis

I read about a guy here in the forum that, many years ago, tried bromelain injections and had some improvements from it. Unfortunately he had to stop his little experiment because of some problems with his penis, caused by the injections , if i remember well

Mediwound's MPWC300 is based on bromelain and it's nothing but an injectable bromelain solution.
So, i was thinking: why didn't anyone try to combine bromelain + iontoforesis?  After all, no one died by bromelain and without classical injections there's no risk of further damages of the penile tissue.

Now someone could ask: why dont you try it?
The answer is: i would like to do it. But i don't have much experience with those arguments. I don't really know how to obtain bromelain solutions and in how much doses. Furthermore, i'm paying to my urologist 80$ for every verapamil injection with ionthoforesis, because i don't know where to buy and how to use a ionthoforesis machine.

But i wrote this because maybe someone here has experience with injectable solutions and iontoforesis and could try or give an opinion.

Best regards to all and thank you for reading this!

Is that $80 in addition to insurance?  Sounds very reasonably priced...

No, no insurance involved. Here in Italy the prices are much lower.. and so are the salaries.

Hi.  I'm "the bromelain guy."  My whole story is on the site.  It was an adventure, I can tell you.  I'm also, I think, the first one to find Mediwound's bromelain studies (via their patent application).  I'm fixed now, thanks to Dr. Rafael Carrion at USF Health in Tampa and his Xiaflex injections.  He and I discussed bromelain.  I think there's a future in it, and it would have to be cheaper than Xiaflex, which is criminally expensive.

My injections were dangerous, of course, but not done out of hand, but rather after much research.  I used a formula similar to one used for burn wound debridement.  There was improvement, but it didn't last.  Multiple injections resulted in a fibrous lump that had to be removed.  No real harm done, but not something you would want to go through.  It was terrifying doing the first injection, but desperate circumstances call for desperate measures.  I don't recommend it without the guidance of a physician.

gringoviajero, What kind of bend do you have now? I did 5 rounds of Xiaflex. Sometimes he injected 2 times in one visit to hit other area. So over 10 injections in all. Left with around a 20% bend. The doc said I had some calcification. May go back some day and see if things can be improved. I looked at the pic you posted. How do it look from a side view? Bent at all?
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Hello,

Bromelain was something I pondered 2 years ago. When I first encountered symptoms.

I believe you when you wrote. 'the lump was a result of injecting a solution designed for topical use'. You was desperate. It's a feeling everyone here has experienced.

Am definitely persuing Bromelain therapy. Will post results here as and when I have first recorded, but that won't be for a while.

PS: 'Mr Bromelain', thank you for all your posts. There incredibly helpful.

Hello,

Yes... After a series of bromelain injections. Mixed with pentoxyfyline and DMSO. Of varying concentrations. I can honestly say. There was no improvement whatsoever.

I don't advice this therapy.

Also please never use syringes unless you are a trained medic or have a willing trained medic do it for you. Just stating the obvious.

im amazed you actually did it, did you notice any negative effects?

My first though from injecting unstudied compounds like that is it could make it worse
