Hi all,

21 year old male here. I noticed this indent on the bottom left of my penis a few weeks ago. I can feel it more than see it. Unsure if it has been here or not, but I've read some horror stories about early development online and I do have a congenital curve going to the right. I am sexually active. Is this congenital? Attached is a picture of it mostly erect. I can feel no plaques, but I've read this can not matter sometimes. Occasionally I feel like it could be sore in this area or there are light shooting pains, but this could be in my head. Very anxious about this and looking for educated responses. Thank you!

It looks like it could be s peyronies dent.  Can you see a peyronies specialist and get an ultrasound?  Maybe get started on pentox and low dose cialis to avoid any progression if peyronies.  Maybe add VED or traction if going all out.  You've caught it early if it is peyronies so try not to worry too much.

I'm not sure if I can but I'll try and arrange that through my GP if that's possible. I guess my question is, is it usual for the penis to have these types of indents and deformities without peyronies? I'm not sure why I would have just noticed this, but I know that my penis bends to the right, wouldn't it be the opposite if the dent were on the left side?

Yes, it would seem to reason if it causes a bend it will be to the left.  Also, you may want to watch closely for any changes if you think you've had it for awhile and act quickly if any change.

Do you think this is outwardly noticeable and a cause for concern? As in, if I hadn't drawn a circle indicating would it be normal for a healthy penis to have these kinds of curves?

Hi, early days yet, but looking at your penis the curve to right is not a problem, most penises have a curve left, right, up or down so no worry there, just keep a eye on the shaft indentation could be the start of Peyronies Disease, lets hope not, keep us informed if you penis gets worse.

What should I be looking for? If anything, I may have noticed a small soft moveable bump around the underside base around that side but only when very erect. I may be overthinking. Could very likely be a vein or I'm imagining it. Afraid of hourglassing I suppose. Is it possible that the top left side of my penis is simply developed more from the natural curve I have? I would think that with an indentation like this I would feel some pain/discomfort but I don't believe I do. Which leads me to believe it's always been there but I am not sure. Thoughts?

Thoughts, you will know what to look for if it happens and Peyronies Disease hits you full blown, its a waiting game, will it or will it not no one knows, just enjoy what you have, what the future holds for us we will never know.

Thought I'd give an update - went to GP on Friday who did an examination as well as looking at photographs and does not suspect peyronies and believes this is natural anatomy therefore did not recommend I see a urologist. Thanks everyone for your help and support this site is a great community.
