Title: What a Month
Post by: Wethenorth on July 11, 2019, 02:46:12 PM
Hey all,

My story basically begins about a month ago. Drunkenly had sex for an hour and a half and couldn't cum by the end of it. (No noticeable pop or injury) The next few days I had pretty bad ED and noticed a flaccid "hanging" as I wouldn't quite say curve. Erections were painless and pretty normal all things considered. I get flaccid pain that comes and goes but not debilitating in any degree.

Being as I have chronic prostatitis, I know several established uro's in the NYC area. Over the course of the month I had a couple of appointments where the doctors said that there was nothing palpable or really even off-looking with my penis. Regardless, I started being proactive and loaded up on L-Arginine, ALC, and CoQ10.

Most recent uro offered to do a Doppler ultrasound at a ridiculously low cost compared to other uro's in the area so I took him up on the offer. Not exactly the most enjoyable experience of my life, but I'm currently waiting for the results.

Being as that I already suffer from anxiety/depression, the past month has been a whirlwind of emotions. Some days I feel hopeless while others I feel motivated to figure this out. I appreciate all the info in this forum and will update once the results come back.

Me too, that was a little confusing that the dr didn't say anything to you

the doctor was in a different location that day; the technician said that the results would be sent over to him within a day or two

Update:

The ultrasound results came back clear, no plaque good flow ("feels there is a bit of concavity on one side"). If this truly isn't Peyronies is there anything else I should be doing aside from taking supplements until things level out?

Wethenorth,

First, Welcome to the forum.  To get the most out of the forum and to save you and other members a lot of repeated questions and answers I strongly encourage you to fill out your signature line like you see under my post and those of many other members.

Based on your posts you have no bend, curve or deformity of any kind,  Multiple urologists think you do NOT have Peyronies Disease.  The Ultrasound is clear, and  I think I read somewhere that you have chronic prostatitis along with some depression and anxiety.

My hope would be that you just strained your penis and it is recovering through a normal healing process with possibly some added pain/aggravation from prostatitis or pelvic floor issues.  Every injury is NOT Peyronies Disease.

I recommend that you maybe use gentle heat and take a break from sex including masturbation.  Continue your supplements, get sufficient sleep and try to reduce your anxiety with meditation or activities that will help you divert your focus.  It is probably a good idea to get some accurate objective measurements of BPSFL, BPEL, and 3 erect girth measurements.  Write them down and forget them until you recheck every couple of weeks.  Unless you see deformity or clear loss of size don't worry about Peyronies Disease.

Best wishes

Appreciate the insight. I posted some pictures in the "Could This Be Peyronie's" childboard which I'm not sure if you saw or not.

Hey man.  Rough story, but many of us here have similar ones.  Sorry it happened to you!
Your pictures look "within normal limits" to me - impressive tool, with a slight curve. At least my Peyronie's is much more of a bend than a slight curve, so your may be a normal variant or at least not full-blown Peyronie's.  Fingers crossed that it doesn't fully develop for you!
I agree with the other posters - I'd start traction and other conservative measures, but be sure you don't psyche yourself out too much between now and then.

i'm Seeing another specialist next Monday. I will try and get on Pentox. Any advice regarding traction? Been doing manual traction but considering getting a device.

I would def add traction to pentox and low dose nightly PDE5i.  Multimodal treatment has must success!
