Title: New lump in the midshaft and lump near glans disappear after 8 months
Post by: feremanuel_03 on September 06, 2018, 03:42:29 PM
History:
Dec or January when i started feeling pain during erections. Browse the internet right away then I make a self diagnosis of peyronie's disease.

I tried to ignore my conditon and after 3 months pain subsided. I went to vist a my first urologist on march. He did not do anything. And told me just wait and see. Check with anothers doctor because I'm not satisfied with the first check up. 2nd doctor then prescribed me with cialis 5mg and 1000mg vit E OD for 3 months. During this period i still have good erections even without the cialis. Both doctors diagnosed my condition as peyronies disease. The 2nd doctor told me to comeback after 3 moths for follow up check up.

Medications i have taken:
Acetyl l carnitine 2000mg per day (self medication)
Cialis 5mg p day ( gave me superb erections)
Vit e 1000mg per day

Took this medication for 3 months (april-june)
No progression of disease notice. Peyronies is stable.

My peyronies probably is 10-15 degrees bent to the left with no problems having intercourse. I only have soft glans because plaque is near the head of the penis.

I thought im okay now and somehow overcome the disease and okay with slight curve to the left but after a new plaque appeared in the midshaft. I feel devastated. I can't palpate my old lump near the glans. Now I'm having erection problems. I'm thinking that erection problem could be psychological.

I will try to go back to the uro again because I missed my appointment 2 months ago due to personal problem.

Did anyong of you experience the same thing. Can't palpate old lump and new lump reappear?

Thanks to those who will comment.

Sounds like the peyronies is recurring.  I'd consider traction and/or VED to hault it.

ESL-40 (least expensive), penimaster pro.  Both have a suction cup and should be worn 3+ hrs/day.  Restorex (most expensive) with one study with improvement using 60-90"/day.

I probably have a recurring Peyronies disease. I can't palpate two of my old plaques. One near the top of the penis and the other in the midshaft. NOW I think I develop a new plaque near the base of the penis. I stopped taking the medicines prescribed by the doctors. Just waiting for the wait and see approach for my new plaque. Did anyone of you experienced having a recurring plaques and the old plaques is not palpable? I still have bending of the penis and some hourglassing. I don't inspect my penis that much  because i don't want to be frustrated.  Sex is still possible the last time i did it.

What treatment are you starting?  Did you read the survival guide here?  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057
