My introduction to Peyronies was shocking and sudden ... 45 degrees ... total freak out.
But no pain, no discernible calcification ...
I have not seen a urologist yet ... it's only been ten days.
Could it be anything else?
Anything other than Peyronies that could cause this? I can imagine blocked blood vessels or such but that looms normal. Biding time right now for a couple months before Medicare kicks in and hoping it straightens out.
How this post got to the "Members Polls" board?

I couldn't see or feel my plaque and calcification but 2 doctors could feel it. So best to go to a doctor to get diagnosed imo
Jeorge, I am not sure biding time is the right thing to do. I personally believe addressing the peyronies (if that is what it is) as soon as possible with a good uro who is knowledgeable about peyronies asap is the right thing to do. At the very least, they can give you options as far as meds/supplements. Its also treatable with Xiaflex as long as it doesn't calcify. Once it calcifies, about the only option at that point, is surgery...if severe enough. I would encourage you, at the very least, to find a good uro for a consultation.
Gotta agree, urologists do not recognize pre or early peyronie's. Only a few true specialists will, but even then they will not offer much other than the measures you should be taking now (oral supplements drugs) and physical therapies. Start up preventative measures NOW.
