Hey guys, i'm new to this site. I've had peyronies for years now. My symptoms have always been extremely mild. My curve was never at all serious and any loss of sensation went unnoticed by me if there was even any at all. This has all changed now. My curve has been getting slightly worse. It bends to the left at the base, so when i lay on my back with an erection it points at maybe 10:45 if my navel is 12:00.
I don't really care about that though...what i DO care about, however, is that 2 weeks ago i realized that jerking off felt rather different. It kinda felt like i was just rubbing skin and not pleasuring myself. I chalked it up to too much masturbation and just let my dick rest. Oddly enough, sensation returned at FULL BLAST the other day, and my dick legit could not sit itself down. i jerked off very lightly to easy my 'pressures' and the sensation was just fine. But as of last night, the numbness has returned seemingly out of the damned blue. But only on my left side. If i stroke my right side the sensation is intense and my muscles tense and release strongly. When i do the same thing to my left side, the pleasure sensation is drastically dulled, and the muscular power generated by the reflex of stroking the head is proportionately diminished. I also have parasthesia on the left side of my body, in my legs and what not but i don't think i can be sure that's even related. I have a burning/aching pain in my left pubic region sometimes.
I just want to ask...if it turns out that my peyronies has spontaneously evolved to a point where my nerves are affected, is there anything that i can do about that? i've been combing through this board looking for the answer to that but surprisingly nobody has asked that question...Is there any hope for me once i've reached this point? If i get Xiaflex injections to dissolve the plaque (which i can feel, by the way), can i possibly untrap the nerves?
WHAT. CAN. I. DO? :'(
Did you get a diagnosis of paresthesia and peyronie's confirmed and do you think you may have an issue with blood sugar?

I won't be able to see a doctor at least until next week. But i definitely have Peyronies. That's not what i want to discuss, though. What i want to know is if anyone here has ever successfully treated penile numbness caused by peyronies in any way, but particularly with Xiaflex or any approach that involves targeting and destroying the scar tissue.
???
So nobody here has ever regained sensation...?
I regained all of my sensation after fasting / keto.
Yes, many have with time.

So basically waiting it out is the best i can do?
how long on average did it take for other people to heal?
is it okay to masturbate?
Is it okay to have sex? (if i can still get it up)

How long, may i ask?
You'd have to check the posts but I believe some regained sensation as long as after a year or two.
Can anybody possibly link me to a recovery story? preferably something i can take pointers from? i'm having trouble finding such stories. Thank you very much for everyone in this thread.
Not to many success stories as most of people that found solution for the Peyronies are disappearing.
Like one guy that have an successful outcome from his treatment wrote:

Fatty fish supports nerves. You could try that.
I suffered a trauma which caused both central (spinal) and peripheral nerve damage. the peripheral nerve damage repaired and nerve sensation returned over years. Still some improvement 3 years later.
BUT it sounds to me like you need to find out what the cause is. If the cause is ongoing, that needs to be diagnosed and treated. Only then does recovery time become a factor.
I really appreciate the tip man. To you and everyone in this thread!
I had to abstain from sex or masturbation for weeks and weeks at a time, even for a month on and off and avoid binging on masturbation at all costs for my sensation to come back. All the while I had to avoid raising blood sugar at all.
I had hourglassing and lost most sensation mid-shaft on the underside. Since that deformity is no longer present, I have regained sensitivity in that area.
Whatnext, how did you get rid of the hourglassing?
RestoreX. I was undergoing xiaflex treatments as well, however based upon my plaques when the hourglassing went away, the traction is what I believe resolved that issue. Also, more trial info is coming in and a majority are showing improvements on deformities including dents and hourglassing.
