Title: No insurance yet so any advice welcome. Acute stage maybe
Post by: Stpiamce on September 11, 2017, 02:34:49 AM
Hi everyone,
I'm 32 and  I'm not sure if I have Peyronies Disease. I haven't been sexually active for over a year now. I masturbate frequently, at least once a day. Back in February I noticed some slight pain when mastubating and a small fluid bubble on underside of penis. I didn't pay it much attention and it went away. Over the past 6 months I've noticed that sometimes there a little bit of pain when I'm starting to get an erection. Basically one side hurts a little and the penis tries to harden more on one side. Eventually after 30 seconds the pain diminishes and the penis become erect and has only a slight assymetry. I can then mastyrbate without any problems. After I finish there is no pain and while flaccid there is no pain. I can't feel any bumps or hard tissue when flaccid or hard. But I can't find any info on how it should feel.

Has anyone had any experience similar to mine? As in some discomfort at start of erection which goes away and then is pain free during erection.

Thank you for any help. I get insurance next month so I can go see a doctor but I kind of upset now so wanted to see if anyone has a similar experience. I realize it's different for everyone.

Stpiamce,

My recommendation to all new comers is to stop masturbating. A lot of people on this forum seem to have developed peyronies from masturbating or jelquing etc. Get a Penimaster Pro traction device. If you have peyronies, traction is beneficial, if you don't no big deal, use it to increase length and girth. Get the SOMA Correct VED. Follow Old Man's protocol for using a VED. Finally, find a competent urologist that actually deals with peyronies. There are urologists out there that don't have a clue about what this condition is and how to treat it.

QuackAttack,

Thank you for the advice. I'm going to cut back on masturbation and develop healthier habits with it. Right now I think I just over-do it and consume too much pornography each day. It's just not a sustainable situation especially at my age. If I was a teenager maybe it makes more sense but watching porn 4+ hours a day I realize is absurd and probably causing other crap in my life. I'd say this was a wake-up call. I'm going to wait until next month and go see a doctor.

Still not convinced I even have Peyronie's since I sometimes tend to blow health issues out of proportion. Hypochondria does that. I don't really have pain, erections are hard and as large as I remember them and frankly i don't feel any plaque or unusual tissues in the flaccid or hard state.

I'm just going to take it easy and see if I wasn't just psyching myself out over this crap. I have a feeling it's easy to start over-obsessing over body-parts and changes that aren't that important. Last thing I want is to give myself ED by being over-obsessed with my dick.

I don't agree with stopping masturbation, unless the masturbation is extremely aggressive or even abusive.  Gentle massage (whether it's masturbation or actual non-sexual massage) is always indicated for tissue repair except in the most extreme cases of tissue degradation.  Any sports injury doctor or therapist will tell you that massage is an integral part of tissue rehabilitation.

And get on a VED ASAP.  Pumping once a day to increase oxygenation will help prevent fibrosis.

Stevo,

My point was people jerking off generally get carried away and I think some people may even accidentally bend the penis back kind of like a girl on top slipping out which tends to be a common injury on the forum. I feel like I am one of the few people that got injured in a missionary position without even knowing I did something because I can't recall coming out and crunching it.
