Title: Does anyone even really post in her anymore?
Post by: Fubar Penis on March 13, 2018, 04:52:29 PM
I don' t know what happened d but I rarely ever see any posts in any of the Peyronie's forums anymore. They are very rare and I never get too many replies. No stories of hope or despair to try to work through this nightmare anymore. Are we just all killing ourselves? The last real real posts on the internet you see anymore by anyone or any institutions are date from like 2014. You get a rare on from 2015. I had another incident and have to go back to the urologist whom will give me the same song and dance BS I'm sure. I'm tired and done fighting with this crap!!! Any good news? Anyone? Anything on the horizon? Cause otherwise, I'm leaving this f'~c<+d up universe that doomed me with a horrible dick deforming painful condition. Just getting things in order first. I have hard flaccid and not one person can tell me how to use an extender or ved with it without causing more damage. Hell, many people didn't even think it was possible to have a hard flaccid. Doctors are F^@$!ng useless and deny hard flaccid even exists. Please don't tell me to see a counselor because thy don't help for crap. Been to over a dozen. I have a woman interested in me now after my wife deserted me for 3 years and can't even imagine showing her my shrunken deformed penis. I need help from those going through it and some hope for a cure to keep moving forward with my life. Doctors are unempathetic and frankly don't give a crap about this condition.

How long have you abstained from any sexual activity? What is your body fat % and blood sugar or fasting insulin level?

It seems basically the same to me, minus the new scientific developments.

Look into stem cell therapy, my friend.

Also, I believe your lack of success with traction therapy is contributing to your frustration. I personally stretch myself by hand. I don't believe these extender devices can compare to traction by hand, because it is jamming a device around your head and pulling it at a certain strength in the opposite direction; useful but not as effective in certain cases. With traction by hand, I can control how much pressure I am putting on the head of my penis, how hard I am pulling, and which direction I am pulling, all of which help greatly. I also don't stretch for longer than 30 seconds at a time (I will do 30 seconds in each direction).

Regarding hard flaccid and difficulty applying traction because of it, I've had the same issue and noticed that my penis is more elastic at certain points in the day. For example, immediately after I urinate, I can easily stretch my penis out. At times, it is impossible. This is another reason I prefer stretching by hand. Also, applying heat can help with that as well.

Please respond if you have any questions. And checkout NeoV's youtube account because he has a full video explanation on traction by hand. His other videos are great as well. Good luck!

Hi, if it's possible I would suggest that you take a deep breath and relax. There is ALWAYS hope. I have 3 plaques and one new forming as we speak.

Are you on Pentox? If you can handle it, take it. Even one per day. It will probably help. Give your dick some time. It probably isn't a good idea to have sex right now even if your penis was "presentable" as you say. Mine is, but if I have sex right now I will further damage it. Please be patient. Do everything that you possibly can to help yourself out. Eat well i.e. non-processed foods, remove sugar and alcohol from your diet and stick to that for at least 6 months. Get anti-oxidant supplements and remove all sources of inflammation from your life. A guy in here has taken up the paleo diet and has seen huge benefits from it. Go out in the sun and take loads of it. Vitamin D does wonders. Sleep well, and have as much of REM sleep as possible - healthy erections occur at that time. Take loads of exercise. Not only it will make you feel better it will also increase your testosterone if it is low.

I wouldn't dare even touching my dick during the acute phase anymore. I have got 2 of my plaques by using the VED. My peyronies started by stretching, imagine that. I would suggest that you keep your hands off it at least while in pain. Even when the pain goes down be very gentle with it. Don't masturbate if you can help it. Avoid having sex for some time. If you do see a specialist see someone with good references, i.e one who knows about peyronie's. Don't let him touch your unit forcefully to "discover" your plaques. This will only cause more damage. From my experience an urologist is useful to discover plaques through ultrasound (or MRI) and write helpful medication prescriptions. Maybe you should take a bit of cialis every night or other. Verify this with your doctor.

Your most useful weapon against this condition is this forum. Read it through and find a solution that fits you and your lifestyle. At the very least read all the success stories and get hints from them. Build up your hope and and stick to it.

I am not sure if you should talk to the woman who shows interest in you about your problem. I would avoid being specific about such a thing. But that's your decision. Bear in mind that in order to be in a relationship one has to be well with oneself and that holds true for everyone, including all those that don't suffer with peyronie's.

Mikes, I agree w your approach to start a treatment plan and stick w it, tho in most cases of peyronies if one isn't rough-and is hard-for masturbation and intercourse I don't think it's a problem.  Having to unnecessarily abstain can be a set up for many.  IMHO. Also, hand stretching is good, but also many have had success w the traction devices and VED.  Btw, I'm trying Paleo Diet this and other medical issues...hoping it helps too 😊

Hi Tsanchez12369, what do you mean by "unnecessarily abstain"? I probably do know but I wanted a clarification... :) What is a "safe" period for abstinence according to your experience? After an injury or in the acute phase generally?

Plus, how long have you been on the Paleo regimen? Do you follow it meticulously?

Hi, I would recommend D3 + K2 as one pill, it helps keep calcium in the bones rather than the body.

I have recently started a Ketogenic regimen and feel great doing so, that means I have a 6 hour window for eating, I use pure C8 MCT (caprylic acid 99%) for breakfast then start food at 12 Noon and last meal about 18.00 hours. IMO this gives your body 'more' time to spend self repairing itself, just my theory  :-\

Anyone interested in Ketogenics see https://www.selfhacked.com/blog/ketone-bodies/

6 weeks on Atkins/paleo.  I feel good, other than that not much to go on.  Even in the acute phase which can be 12-18 months I haven't found any research to support abstinence.  Now, if someone just had an injury and is swollen, bruised, painful, etc, it would make sense till it calms down.  Where do you find any evidence for abstinence in normal peyronies cases?

@Tsanchez12369 with that diet, best results will come if you are careful about the omega 3 to omega 6 ratio of the fats you eat. It will make as much of a difference again as removing grains and starchy carbs did first off.

Grass fed/pastured beef, macadamia oil, fish oil tablets etc.

When the injury that caused my third plaque occurred, I abstained from sex/masturbation for a good 3-4 months. At about 6 months from the injury and although I felt no more discomfort at the time,  I had some intense masturbation sessions. I should also note that I was trying to quit on Pentox at the time, and maybe this is why I was prone to hurt myself. After those the injury "commenced" (?) and I can feel a small pulp at the left side of the base. I don't think it's calcified though as it has not caused me any deformation but it still hurts at times or after an erection. It's a year and a half from that time.

@skunkworks can you elaborate on the omega 3 to omega 6 ratio of the fats?
