Title: Hello everyone. Peyronies at 17 :/ youngest dude on forum
Post by: diehardpatriot on November 14, 2017, 02:56:28 AM
Hello everyone, im so glad I found this site with many people fighting the same battle I am about to join. I'm only 17. I'm absolutely positive I got peyronies 3 years ago in the 9th grade. I had never jacked off or had sex up to that point, and I'd always have random boners for long long periods of time, like 2 hours. The boners would hit my pants cause my penis to bend. This happened all year that year and into my sophomore year. My penis curves to the right, not by a Lot, I would say around 20 something degrees, not bad enough to make sex a thing I can't do. I never had pain with peyronies until this summer, which was when I started Masturbating and later on became sexually active. But now I have pain and my erections are becoming weaker. I think I am entering the acute phase, because the condition is beginnin to progress. At first, I had one spot of plaque and one module. Now I have 3 modules on the left side of my penis (which makes my penis curve right). I just stared taking coq10 2 days ago (400mg a day). I also have been using castor oil for a long time now, I started it when I suspected I had peyronies but wasn't too sure, long story short it didn't do crap for me, but I heard it's better when used with DMSO. Today, I saw my doctor to get a referral to a urologist.( I still see a pediatrition btw), and he made me feel as if I made up the condition. He told me he didn't think the urologist would do anything, but he relunctantly gave me the referral. The appointment is next Tuesday in 7 days. I really want to try trental, I hope the urologist with prescribe it. At the very least I can find out if I for sure have peyronies. Some starter questions for anyone kind enough to answer: 1)will Coq10 lower my blood pressure dangerously? Since I am so young 2) did y'all have a hard time getting a uro yo prescribe you trental (pentox)? 3) what do y'all think about traction as a treatment ? (Really interest in trying it). 4) what other non prescription treatments should i add to my regiment? Thanks to anyone who read this all. I've decided to stop letting this get worse while I watch. I'm ready to fight this disease. You'll be seeing me a lot on this forum now. My PMs are open to anyone who wants to talk about the condition we share

One of the reasons to keep discussions on the forum instead of PM is so that we can all learn and contribute.  The thing about traction of VED (Vacuum Erection Device) therapy is to NOT try and gain anything beyond the natural size your Tunica should have.

Never use either traction or VED to the point of pain.  The objective is to soften the scar tissue as much as possible with medications and supplements and perhaps heat and gently stretch it as much as possible...up to the natural size of the Tunica.  I have a post around here linking to a Ted Talk about penis anatomy which is very good at describing how it works.

Read up on the posts about traction and VED here, paying particular attention to Old Man's posts as he is the resident VED expert.

These things are all part of self treatment, but you really need a proper diagnosis in order determine if you have vein leakage or other issues beyond the scar tissue which is the "classic" Peyronie's manifestation.

You can get a fairly accurate home Blood Pressure (BP) gauge at most drug stores and Walmarts...most of them take the pressure on a wrist, and I have one which is always within a point or two of Dr. visits.   If you are concerned about what some supplements may do to your BP, getting a base line and reading it often are a good idea.

Pay particular attention to your diet as well, since Magnesium deficiency is universally a problem with all fibrosis conditions...and scar tissue is a fibrosis.

Good luck, and read here a lot.
