Title: stabilization of the disease?
Post by: max64 on January 03, 2018, 10:17:09 AM
Hello everyone, sorry my English, I registered here because in Italy there is only a forum but in my opinion is not independent.
I am here in the hope of finding people with less drastic experiences than those found on the internet.
I am 53 years old and two months ago I almost suddenly noticed a curvature up and slightly to the right of my penis. From the palpation there was a small nodule on the dorsal part of the penis confirmed by the urologist and subsequent ultrasound: thin calcified plaque 3.2 mm to 2 cm from the glans.
The specialist said that being calcified had to go back to an old scar and that it should have stabilized.
Considering the modest curvature, the total absence of pain and the normal erective function, the urologist advised me Peronimev plus for two months and surveillance of the curvature.
For now it does not seem to be worse (even improved but that happens this I think it's difficult) but I wonder if it is possible that the curvature could only manifest itself at calcification achieved without ever having had the slightest pain or discomfort.
If there are any experiences of stabilization of the disease in this state.
I've always had quite intense sex, now I'm more careful and I do it moderately, reflecting what happened to me I remembered an episode of months ago where after a sexual relationship "strong enough" I noticed a very small bulge that in the following weeks was disappeared, perhaps that was the triggering trauma to which unfortunately I did not give importance.
Needless to say, because you know by direct experience, how much anxiety causes this condition, so friends look for your testimonies.

Thank you

Although common, especially initially, I understand sometimes pain does not accompany Peyronies.  If your doc has confirmed calcification it would certainly make sense that it has stabilized...barring any additional trauma (recurrence is always a possibility), thus prevention is key.
