For an ultrasound, An erection is not necessary to identify plaque/peyronies but is to diagnose ED

Def great to discuss w doc, but if he cannot explain why your case would be different—in such a case I wouldn’t follow his direction of no traction if he’s just not supportive of it.  Ultimately doc’s work for us, not vice versa...just my two cents.

Did you have a dent? I can FEEL the f'^+'ing band of scar exactly where my dick cannot expand and it drives me insane because I know if that went away/ softened I would be cured...

yes, i still have a bit, but with the vacuum is going away! now is almost invisible. Cured you are when your sexual intercourse does not have any problem, and you curvature is gone.

Did your Dr tell you why you shouldn't use traction? Is it just you and your case specifically, or is this his standard protocol for treatment? Personal expierence and reading what others on here say, traction is beneficial. But, it's up to you. Also, both you and your dr should be on the same page during your course of treatment.

Hi All,

I am new to all this, and am feeling lost.  Is there a women's board I could join?  DH is 47 and was just diagnosed with Peyronies a few months ago.  Trying but struggling with how to be supportive/helpful/encouraging - especially since we are trying to have children.

Thank you!

Was it with injection? Doppler showed nothing in my case but the injection did not give me an erection so obviously there was something very bad

Anyway try to get a cavernosography

I am wondering how my urologist found nothing important enough for me to know about on the Doppler ultrasound when I have like three different places where I can feel lumps, have no sensation in my penis, and severe ED not responding to pills...

But my ultrasound came back normal.

So if an ultrasound really does show all of these things (scar tissue, tissue damage, plaques) then WTF are these lumps and why have they ruined my sex life completely...
