Maybe a breakthrough regarding dissolving our plaques also?
Hope it will be in my life time  :)

I read that in one of the ongoing cancer trials using this they are asking patients if they have any fibrotic condition and then testing after treatment to se if there is improvement. The CD47 protein covers both fibroblasts and canncer cells in the same way and 'masks' them from your immune system so that they are protected. The CD47 anti-body un-masks the cells so your body can eradicate them.....cool!

Let's hope they will go fast forward with the trials :)

Really interesting! So, can it reverse existing fibrosis?
