Title: Beginning treatment
Post by: alabadrock on July 27, 2018, 08:25:10 PM
Hey guys, I'm 29 years old and have been dealing with the condition for about 2 years.

Once I've become employed in my field of study and have proper insurance, I've begun seeing a primary care physician (awesome guy) from whom I requested a referral to a urologist within the UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) system.  This week I went to my appointment with Dr. Selph (who was so compassionate, understanding, and kind; I'm gay, and when he asked if I was in a relationship, he did a rapid-fire of if I was intimate with a wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, study-buddy, etc...) he was great.

Anyway, my condition is not extreme.  Essentially, I achieve a full erection in the lower half of my penis; however, I only ever achieve a fully erection the upper half of my penis when I am VERY aroused... which, since I'm chronically single, only happens once in a blue moon.

My urologist prescribed me a 20mg dose of Viagra (1 daily) and 400 of Pentoxifylline (3 daily).

I'm curious if anyone in the forum, with a manageable level of the condition, have been prescribed the same regimen and how successful it has been.

I'd appreciate any advice, comments, or suggestions.  Thank you for your consideration.

Steve

That's an excellent start, many guys cant get those prescribed and have to turn to international online pharmacies.  Can you add traction and/or VED...if so you'd really have a great treatment regimen!
