Hey guys, which doctors have the most experience with Xiaflex/Xiapex treatments in Spain? I'm considering it as a possibility in the future if my situation doesn't improve. The treatment consists of 4 different cycles with 2 injections each right. I'm just wondering how many trips I would have to make, probably some consultation and also previous exams to the concrete time... What's the complete quoted price, if someone from Spain could say I would really be appreciated. You can reply by PM if you don't want to post the price publicly.

Also a bit offtopic, what's the best way to delay calcification. I'm taking Pentox right now, also changed my diet to be more anti-inflammatory with plenty of antioxidants. Anything else I should be doing...I'm guessing the calcification starts to occur in a more pronounced way in the chronic phase 12-18 monts after the disease onset, am I right?

Thanks, already got the recommendation for Cialis I'll make sure I request it in my next appointment. Also researching traction devices right now.

Hi tiagofil,

Vitamin K2 is said to be a great ally against calcification. Personnally, I can say that my plaques do seem stable ever since I've been taking it (4 or 5 weeks); but as usual, this could just be the result of plenty of others parameters (adding Glisodin supplements at the same time, starting my new olive oil/vit E/emu oil topical protocol, Pentox and Cialis finally doing their job, or just chance...). Anyway, do start using traction and VED right away, as I can fully confirm that these do play a great role in keeping your penis alive.

And about a specialist in Spain: on a trip to Madrid last month, I happen to have visited Dr Peinado Ibarra (who I found on the internet); he actually couldn't help me more than my others urologists in Paris, but, to my mind, he seemed to be very serious, well-informed, competent and experienced. But make sure you see a few uros before making your choice !

Anyway, stay strong, and remember the research seems to be making significant progress for the (almost) near future (H-100 gel, stem cells...).

PS : Serrapeptase and nattokinase enzymes are also said to help with calcification, although a few members tested them without great success; for myself it seems that serrapeptase is reducing my pain a little, but it's only been a week of daily use, so I can't tell for sure.
- 35 yo, Peyronies Disease with chronic pain, general hourglassing with girth and length loss since 09/01/17.
- Pain almost cured with Hirudoid cream and diet/lifestyle changes (see my topics on this); deformity still here, but partly reduced with traction + VED.
