So I see an old thread on here about Intracavernosal Plaque Excision and different article posts about it. Has anyone had it done or discussed it with their doctor? It seems way less invasive than some of the other surgery option and I'd like to hear farm someone who had undergone it or some version of it. Here's one article about it:

Never heard of this before.   Looks interesting.

I never read of such surgery in a western country.
But it sounds good

I did read two other articles where this was performed in the USA. One was in California and the other in Florida. Let me find the articles and get back to you. It just seems like with most other surgeries doctors try to be as minimally invasive as possible.

Would like to know who performed it in Ca.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.

Looks like the article was by: Michael L. Eisenberg, James F. Smith, Alan W. Shindel, and Tom F. Lue;Department of Urology, University of California, San Francisco, CA.

This one did involve plication though.

Here's another. I wonder why more on this isn't available and has anyone on here undergone anything similar?

I see Dr Lue Tuesday for xiaflex, I'll ask if he is still doing this procedure and why or why not.

I am desperately seeking any info regarding this technique.  There is the study from Poland in 2004, the one from Iran in 2016, and a variant of it from Univ. of Cal S.F. in 2010.

My current Urologist at Mayo has never heard of it, and I am very anxious to find out where it is being performed, and who I can contact regarding this surgery.

If you could please update me on this, or if you have any info on this, please post it, or sent me a private message, as my other options are not very promissing.

Thanks
