I am 43, from Texas and about 2 weeks ago I noticed a slight bend up maybe 10-15% degrees right behind my head. It was so slight I had to look closely to
confirm that indeed it was going up. I knew right away that it could be Peyronie's. I have had ED for 20yrs and viagra and other pills quit working about 2.5 yrs ago.
My uro out me on Bi-mix injections which are fantastic! But warned that i should alternate injections sights and watch for possible scarring from she shots. The thing is my bend is no where near my injection sights. I think it happened during some very intense sex. But I also masturbate some and right where my right hand thumb would be on my cock I can feel a hard cord. At first I masturbated to see if everything was ok. The pain afterwards was pretty bad. The bad thing is my uro just quit his practice the week I wanted to see him. So I have made an appt with another uro that is supposed to be up on Peyronie's treatment. In the mean time I have read tons here and I began taking:
Vit. E, Curcumin, GPLC, Grapeseed extract and several others.

The bend has increased some in the past 3 weeks and pain has greatly been reduced though. I am wanting to go on Pentox and buying Restorex. Possibly xiaflex.
I guess I will know more after my appointment on 4/30.

My question is does the bend happen gradually?

Yep, this is the real shocker, your dick is bent one morning out of the blue, WTAF!  :o
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

You might check if Mayo is still accepting volunteers into the Restorex clinical trial.  The device costs about $600.  The cost of travel for me for the 3 required visits is about the same as purchasing the device.  For the help of the community, I chose to participate in the study.   I'll post my results when completed.  Dr Trost indicated the highest success rate appeared to be a combination of 1 round (2x) Xiaflex combined with traction therapy.

The findings are anecdotal, not expected. Test subjects were not supposed to have tried Xiaflex or other medical treatments.  Mayo approached BioSpecifics Technologies, who developed the preparation and manufactured and marketed by Auxilium Pharmaceuticals to do a joint study, but they declined.  (At $3,000+ per dose, its not in their interest)

My advice, if you are planning to purchase the device, see if you can enroll in the study.

Nice to see someone in the trial on here. Check out the threads in regards to RestoreX in the traction devices section. You can probably shed some more light on this device.

I ordered the device the day it became available and used it in combination with xiaflex. I was unable to participate due to combining treatments. However, all of my data was recorded during visits, including a more detailed evaluation mid treatment and post, 6 weeks after my last cycle.
