Does an ultrasound rule out Peyronies?

Hi guys,

I had an ultrasound a while ago (probably like 6 months after the first sign of pain and lump developed on underside of my penis) and apparently there is no sign of scar tissue on it.

Does that mean I definitely don't have Peyronies?

Can an ultrasound be wrong?

Don't you already have several posts and responses to this already?

Yeah I have asked it but I wanted more than one opinion.

Hey sonnyjim, I swear I don't want to bother you, but let me ask you just one question: what would you do if you magically found out that you really have scar tissue in the erectile bodies?

sonnyjim

I don't know I guess I would have a diagnosis at least... And from there I would just take the urologists advice.

Not knowing is much worse especially when I cannot get erect with 100mg Viagra a VED or anything and my flaccid size is lifeless and about half the size it was.

If that was the case, a knowlegeadble and honest urologist would then tell you to get an implant if you want to get over your ED, because currently this is the only solution for scar tissue's related ED.

So, again, I really wish you don't have any fibrosis.

Best of luck man.

I hope it isn't as well but everything I am trying or have tried just will not make it go away or symptoms to get better (ED and the weird sensations).

I wonder how one small injury could cause all of these problems to be honest. In the space of 1 and a half years EVERYTHING has changed for me down there.

Nobody here has had an ultrasound that they were told was normal and found out later they had scar tissue ?

I would insist you get your GP to set you up with another urologist, it will be a hassle through the NHS but insist that nothing (PDE5i) is helping your ED, and that you are now desperate.

You could of course choose to ignore that advice but without further medical insight you could be posting these questions in a further 6 months.

I am surprised you don't have a curve if your injury resulted in peyronie's, hence it must be that the inflammation and trauma from your injury is manifest in your ED.

In my opinion ED that isn't responsive is much worse than peyronie's, you need to ask an urologist 'what options do I have' considering your young age, I do get it though and it must be totally soul destroying, your GP and hopefully a further expert referral should also, having a lifeless appendage is f'~c<+d up!!

I agree because I would much rather have a working penis that has a bend than a straight one that doesn't work at all.

I have another appointment on the 19th and I'm not leaving there until they find out what is causing this and what the hard bits I can feel are if they aren't scar tissue.

I seriously feel like jumping in front of a train by now.

Okay, you have an appointment on 19th, that is positive  :)
You need to be fair but firm in making that appointment count, I hope it does move things forward, write down questions you have and ensure they understand your current mental state.

In the mean time please don't do anything stupid, right? Be aware when I/you post here that vulnerable members (and guests) are influenced, hopefully for the better , even when it seems hopeless :)
