Hello guys, new to this forum, although I used to read it casually years ago. First acquired Peyronies Disease back in 2008. Intensive use of a traction device  back then and thank God,  was left with a very manageable curve and retained enough sexual ability to mostly put it behind me and be ok.

Until suddenly a week ago.. a minor impact accident with my bedcover and now undergoing a full-blown flare up with pain and a new indentation at the base on the left side. Have started with doses of pentox, will get a follow up next month when I may possibly move onto xiaflex.

Its been years since I thought much about Peyronies Disease but now its back (with all its mind games, depression and life-sabotage).. and here I am updating my knowledge. Firstly, I'm amazed to see the advances in treatments such as the sliding technique + implants. Seems to be more hopeful than things were a decade ago.

Thanks for listening. I look forward to interacting with you knowledgable people on this positive forum..

That's great that in the past traction was so helpful.  How long did you do it for and how often?  Will you start it again?  Also, not sure if it's new in the last 10 years but low dose cialis or viagra is helpful for many in remodeling the plaque.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

I used the extender device for up to 4 hours a day (when possible) for about 3 months. Fairly sure it reduced a 35 degree upward bend to about a  15 degree one.

I've dusted it off again but finding it tricky to position for on a sideways traction. Not sure how effective it can be this way.
