Andropeyronie - watch out for this!

I have been using Andropeyronie for over 20 days now and twice have noticed issues (rather fortunately) where the rods have been extended on one side due to them being now turned enough. This leads to an imbalance in the length on one side.

There is nothing in the instructions on this so watch out for this.

Hey , I'm waiting on my order of one! How are u finding it otherwise?

pjchap

Also how long have u had Peyronies Disease ? And how much of a curve ? Any improvement so far using this ?!

Noncom

Its a moderate upward curve - so far curve is about the same but the girth seems to have improved at the end - although may be as I added VED.

I am only at 40 days - Androperonie makers say improvement will be noticeable from 50 days. I have checked growth and am .5 cm longer erect than starting which is a good sign. The way the device works is that every x days you add anoner .5cm metal piece to make longer so I'm guessing as time passes (6 months required) the curve will reduce.

Other tips are wear two pairs of underwear - easier to hold the device and conxel and can add a heatpack. Would recommend VED as well (use a bathmate X30).

Good luck!

How many hours are you completing per day and are you in the accute or stabilised phase?

Noncom

The phase is a hard one as I never really had much pain. Seems to have stablelised in progression. Plaque is 3mm vi 4 cm around the top. Not calcified apparently but i can feel it.under then skin..seems quite deep unfortunately.

In terms not hours move built up to do three two hour sessions at work - morning, after lunch, mid afternoon. Then I will do one or two sessions at home. When I get back and then after dinner. All adds up to about 8 hours which is the target. Some days less some days more.

I track the hours and general comments (treatment changes, comments) on my phone. You are kind of forced to do this to note when to add extra length to the device.

Boy2018

Hello,
I just read this post and I want to share my case. After searching on internet, I asked my brother's  urologist and got more information about the treatment and he advised me that to get good results I had to be consistent and wear it every day for 8 hours with breaks ( to distribute those hours throughout the day) and device must be placed to the opposite side of the vurvature, in my case since my curvature was to the left then I put the device on and then to the right.. He put me in contact with the Andromedical laboratory and I started using it and I admit that at the beginning I was a little lost because I am very clumsy but the Customer Service  helped me and I started using it as the urologist told me and as it comes in the instructions  book and after 5 months I stopped treatment and my penis is almost straight and also a bit bigger.  Totally satisfied because it was the goal I had set and I did not want to continue because it was enough.

I hope my comment will at least serve to clear up doubts, at least ask a doctor who is up to date treatments because if we trust the forums, one goes crazy with so much contradiction, yes, not, maybe. ..
Luck

Hey James,

what's gpoing on with you? i am not promoting anything, I am just sharing my experience... I know how frustating can be suffering form peyronies disease and not getting any real help....

I dont think that 3 comments in 2 weeks are too much, I found this interested forum related to peyronies with different  similar topics and I just  wanted shared my experience. or according to you how often and in how many topics can I participate ?  come on James!!!

What I meant is that in other forums I found contradictory opinions, some people says that it works and some poeple the opposite... and for me was confusing...

I dont need to promote anything I jsut want to help others. Sorry if you dont like my help.

Regards,

LWillisjr

We are just being cautious. James has been on the forum a long time with myself and you would be surprised how many scams and people promoting quick fixes. Not saying you are, just understand why we are so cautious.

Yes I know that some company maybe tries to promote their products but I am not talking about offers, prices, providing links to online shops.. I am just sharing my experience... I just want to help others.

If I spoke about my  lovely holidays in Puerto rico, would I be  promoting Puerto Rico, would I belong to Puerto Rico Tourist department?? Lol ;-)

Boy2018 -   There have been several shills on this site for the AndroPeyronie product.  Normally I would not care,  but since some have called your sincerity into doubt, maybe you should explain why you signed one post as Hans and another as Raul?  One very plausible explanation in my mind is that more that one person is posting under the same user name, hence this would be a marketing campaign, but perhaps there is another more innocent answer.  I would hate to bash someone with Peyronies trying to help ...

Daniel W,

Can you tell us more about your condition, how long, what therapies you have tried etc... Surgery is always a last form of treatment, it isn't something you would want to do before trying other things first.

Noncom, how's it going? any changes in curvature?

Noncom

Hello all,

I stopped with the Andropeyronie as I'm not sure it is good given the position of the plaque (just under glans). I'm trying with ved and pentoxide and am starting to see improvement - I think it has improved by about 5% or so curve. If it keeps proving at this rate will be very happy..

Hi Daniel,

I used andropeyronie for my condition and I got good results... not only I got a curvature correction, also a girth Growth.

It is effective but you have to  be constant and wear it everyday.

will you be able to wear it for 8 hours everyday?  I read about some users who left the device because they could not use it the required hours everyday.

You can get good results but be sure you can do it isntead of spend money unnecessarily.

Regards,

I bought the Andro (about $200) and used it for about 3 months, I had a lot of problems with it, just found it poorly designed and frustrating to use, but its a cheaper option.  I changed over to the Restorex ($500), much easier to work with, but you cant wear it around people.  The Andro can be hidden under a loose pair of sweats, I could sit and watch TV in the family room and no body would know except that I wouldn't get up to often.  You need total privacy for the Rextorex, although it is only work for 30 minutes at a time.  I was able to get the Restorex under my FSA so it was worth the purchase for me.  I would say depending on your financial situation, it might be a worthwhile purchase, but you can probably get good results with the Andro or Penimaster too ..

Congrats Danniel!!!

Go on and you'll get great results... yes I achieved some gain in girth and length besides curvature correction.

Can't wait till reading your updates!!

I got one of these about 6 weeks ago and put off using it at first. I only got it cause my urologist reccomended it. Would not say it is a great reason but figured it was something. Actually started it for the last week. It is pretty straightforward to use but have to watch the silicon tubes when you tighten them up. You have to make sure no skin is pulled in or ouch. Not sure if it will do anything but trying it. I was wondering how it is really different from restorex if anyone has tried both. I agree anyone with a gimmick is trying to get our money. My last surgeon visit wants to excise and graft. Then let me use trimix until that does not work and implant a coloplast. I figured i have to try something. I am stretched at 6 right now not to painfully but do not think i am getting back to 7 with this thing but who knows. If it does after a couple months will post it.

I have used both devices and I can give you the good and bad as I see it.  A positive for both is that have published data, but I dont know if the Restorex is more effective or not, because I dont know what the Andro results are.

Andro -  PRO:  $200, smaller and lighter, can be worn under a pair of sweats when sitting around the house so you can watch TV with the family if you are wearing (hoping it does not slip off).  CON:  Poor design and difficult to put on, inconsistent pressure, has to be worn for 4+ hours a day for six month to get really good results.

Restorex:  PRO:  Easy to use, very consistent force and higher forces achievable.  Only need to wear for 1/2 hour at a time 2 x per day.  Angular force, you can pull against the curve in most any direction (some debate if this is helpful, but its touted as a benefit).  More comfortable, once you figure out the best wrapping for you (read various methods in this forum).  CON:  $500,  It is large and sticks straight out, so you need total privacy when wearing.

othaumas

Hi Folks,

I have had Peyronies Disease for a few months now. It started only on one side but has developed around the whole top. I am WAY to bashful to go to a doctor about this. I can't even imagine the embarrassment of having a Dr. examine and touch and give injections to my erect penis! It might have to happen in order to gain access to the drugs I will need, but I thought I'd try VEC and extensions first on my own. My question is about the extension device. I see you need to wear it 8 hours per day. Does it fit under clothing? I can't see me going around 8 hours with my thing hanging out. Also what about the extension I see at X4 labs? Any good? Price is $119.

Thanks for imput

Gabriel

Hey othaumas,

The only traction device you can really wear under clothes all day long is the ESL40, quite cheap, efficient in the long term or as an adjuvant, but with mild tension force.

You surely want to buy another traction device for home, and I absolutely recommend the Penis Master Pro, which allows you too reach high levels of tensions with no disconfort for long sessions. If it's available where you live, you can also look at the RestoreX, even more powerful, and very promising although we don't have much perspective on it yet.

Cheers,
- 35 yo, Peyronies Disease with chronic pain, general hourglassing with girth and length loss since 09/01/17.
- Pain almost cured with Hirudoid cream and diet/lifestyle changes (see my topics on this); deformity still here, but partly reduced with traction + VED.

Thanks you Gabriel,

This is the kind of advise I was hoping to get. Bad enough to have this dreaded infliction, but only made worse by stupid decisions.

Othaumas,  don't be afraid to visit a urologist about your condition.  They have hundreds of men in their practice, many suffering with Peyronies.  They deal with it all the time, they don't laugh, or judge you.  At my doctors office, I had woman nurses, pa's, and doctors all examine me, wrap my penis, and do injections.  It's very normal and routine for them.
