So after a dumb mistake hitting my semi erect penis. I have a new hard plaque. Feels like a small ball under the glans on the bottom side of my penis. The injury happened 9 days ago. Plaque came 7 days ago. Its causing my pain while erect.  I'm terrified of a new deformity as I already curve up and to the right . Is rheee anytime a plaque won't cause more deformity? This plaque is very hard and about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of a pea. Just spoke to Dr Goldstein who said he would be willing to inject the new plaque. He mentioned inteferon (I know it's an ancient treatment). I would be weary of xiaflex as I think this plaque is too new for something so strong. But Goldstein also does xiaflex, PRP, and verapimil . I'd be willing to inject this new plaque If it means I can prevent more deformity. You guys think this would be safe/effective??

Have you ever an ultrasound to confirm plaque? How can you be sure it's plaque? I think there's a psychological component making us think we have peyronie's. I had an ultrasound to to confirm there was no plaque but yet i'm sfill paranoid. But i was examined by Dr. Lue, one of the best. zap i'm confident in his diagnosis.

I've been diagnosed because of my symptoms . I clearly have Peyronie's. A new lump is also scar tissue. Can't be anything else

I went to go see Dr. Lue in San Fran he recommended against xiaflex said that in my case it would most likely cause a rupture. He said just keep taking the cialis and pentox. He never even mentioned verapamil. Does verapamil cause swelling? I live in Van Nuys I use to go to Dr. Gelbard and then Chandrasoma but both said pentox and cialis and never mention verapamil.

Thanks

Bueller. Thank you! can you send me a PM? I'm planning on seeing dr lue in the near future and would love to hear about your experience and process. That's interesting he said in your case it'd likely cause rupture, I wonder why? Did he tell you?

If he is similar to me his plaque is probably thin and calcified.  I had a dr give me injections anyways and I ruptured

Bueller-----Yes Xiaflex can cause temporary swelling. 2 or 3 times the size of you normal flaccid penis. That was true in my case.  Your doctor examined you. He knows personally the condition of your penis and the location of the Plaque. Seems like an honest assessment to me. I would not risk rupture if my doctor told me it was a high probability
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

He said the tunica was too thin and that xiaflex would likely cause a rupture. The plaques have definitely gotten harder and larger but still feel like soft little scars. Does Verapamil cause insane swelling or is it more mild? I need something I can't even walk around I constantly get hard flaccid even though I'm taking cialis and pentox. Any idea how to get rid of the hard flaccid my dick feels sore 24/7.
