Surgery Question

I have recently been told I would need to have surgery since everything I have tried has failed so far. My question is can you have any of the penile surgeries while being awake. I have kind of scared of being put to sleep since I have never been put to sleep before.

Yes, if doc is willing you can request a spinal block + local.  You can also ask about a twighlight anesthesia.

I think it's going to be plication. I am not sure which doc at the moment. I will find out soon. Just wanted to know if it could be done while being awake. I will ask about this, thanks a lot.

But didn't you just start xiaflex?  It can take many months for improvement since you have to wait 6 weeks between rounds.

I was meant to start xiaflex but after a full examination, he said It wouldn't work in my situation. Then he told me surgery was the best option, unfortunately.

I'm From England. This was done under the NHS. I don't know the specialist name off hand. But I have seen many different specialists over the last year. This one is the only one who is willing to do something.

I see, probably plication.  Are you ok w length loss down to the shorter side of the curve?

I guess anything must be better than having a curved penis. I can probably deal with the length being sorter.  Hopefully, soon I will get more of an update on what is going to happen and I will be sure to post an update.
