PriapismFML

Hi All,
I am 38 years old.I am suffering from ED(without pills no erection under any circumstances) following a priapism episode of one to two days which happened six months ago.

At the time i had never heard of priapism or the damage it could do,it resolved by itself after 1 to 2 days.
Since then i have had no spontaneous erections,no Morning Wood.
No erections by myself or with a partner(who has since left me)

With the use of Cialis 20mg i can just about get an erection with a lot of effort but lose it quiet quickly very easily. Also the skin seems not as tight so erection not expanding as much as before.

I have tried daily Cialis 5mg,On demand Cialis 20mg,and currently Generic viagra 25mg to 50mg every night for nocturnal erections which is working for that.

I went to my doctor who wouldn't refer me to a urologist because its all in my head is what he said.
Found a urologist myself but he just wanted to start me on testosterone.
I done 3 seperate testosterone blood tests at 3 different doctors all came back normal.
But he still wanted to do TRT.
So went to another doctor he referred me to another urologist this one was better he said that because blood was trapped that there is now tissue damage.I want to do Doppler scan so he has refered me to another urologist and this urologist has refered me to yet another urologist where they preform Doppler scan.

From what ive read on the internet things don't look too good.
I could have penile fibrosis.
Is there anything i could take or do that might improve that?
This has totally destroyed my life  :(

I have read about penile implants but i really want to avoid that if at all possible
Also injections i'm afraid of doing even more damage
Plus i would really like to just get back my normal penis or even close to normal.

Thank You to anyone who can help me or guide me.

Paolo

Hi PriapismFML, thank you for taking the time to register, it is appreciated  :)

I hope others chime in here but you look like the perfect candidate for VED (Vacuum erection device). I haven't used one myself (don't suffer ED) but VED has got to be good for your situation. What VED does is move fresh blood in and out of the penis with the oxygen benefits that brings.

Hope you situation improves and please keep posting  :)

And thank you to all the people who have messaged me wishing me well and offering help.
Big difference between this board and some of the doctors and urologists i've dealth with.

One doctor when i told him how badly this is effecting me and that i'm now single.
He said to me "Well if your single why do you even need an erection" :o

Pfract

PriapismFML,

I have gone through 8 cycles of Xiaflex and now my first of a 6 cycle course of Verapamil. Sticking a needle into your package would freak anybody out. However, it isn't that big a deal after the first time. I have had more injections into my package that just about anybody out there and the only ones that have any sting at all are the Lidocane for numbing. Once you're numb, no problem with the other stuff. You will get bruising, but it's tolerable.

what caused the priapism episode? can it just happen randomly out of nowhere?

I would look into adding citrulline malate + L-norvaline + at least 1200mg of Pentoxifylline daily. Those should really help with your erections. But since you've had priapism before, I'd start easy.

I wish you well with your treatment !

pey ron :
I have no idea ? I wasn't taking any meds or drugs or anything different.
I never even heard of priapism before it happened to me and it went away itself after 1 or 2 days.I was really busy at the time with lots of other stuff so i just totally ignored it.If only i knew then what i know now :(

citrulline malate + L-norvaline + Pentoxifylline
i will buy these ASAP
Thank You :)

I have no idea

Then I'd advise you to take the supplements (citrulline and norvaline) in the morning. So that you'll be awake and alert and can get medical help if by any chance it happens again. Pentox you need to take 3 times a day. See if you can get your hands on some ketoconazole or some other emergency kill-switch for priapism. Best if you consult a doctor on this, since for me it's just hearsay from a hairloss forum (where ketoconazole is used in topical shampoos).
